The U.S. Army’s first gender-integrated infantry office course has been completed by 10 of 12 women who took the challenge. A graduation ceremony was held Wednesday in Fort Benning, Georgia, to celebrate 166 officers who attained the infantry’s iconic blue cord. Many of the female officers will now move on to challenges that include Ranger school and Airborne school.

Women officers in combat zones? Likely to be either overly rigid, or wildly erratic.
Just my opinion as a lifelong civilian.
Women are biologically, genetically, socially and culturally not programmed to be leaders and even more so not programmed to lead men in battle.

My son recently finished boot camp and combat training in the Marines, and he said along with others I spoke to the women are treated very differently and the women do not get the exact same workouts as the men do.

If nothing else, biology, physiology, and psychology of our species override indifference to women. Try as they might, all of these gender integration/engineering efforts go against human nature; and in the basest situations, of which combat is one, human nature always surfaces.
Parris island the women get more free time left along from the DI’s. One the crucible some have their weight taken off them and they just walk in, same as hikes.
Combat training at Camp Geiger. Same thing.
My oldest boy and other marines I spoke with said that the women were not being treated the same and should nto be marines. A couple of other marines said that they cause drama at camp Geiger as they train together and should not be there.
The only ones who think they should be there in that company were the idiots who never took marine training seriously and always flirted.
One woman tried to get in the male barracks, but my son on fire watch threw her away. Her reply was that she wanted to sleep wt a certain guy.
Women do not ever belong with men in these situations.

Bull squat! Lord, I cannot imagine being assigned to a platoon and meeting my PL, and it’s a woman! I think I would laugh. Course my butt would be in a sling for a bit. Or having a new PL assigned and it’s a woman. Again, I would laugh, and this will do nothing but damage morale.
Black Hats (instructors) rarely dropped her for pushups, while the male officers routinely did upwards of 300 pushups a day during the first two weeks (Ground & Tower weeks). I didn't mind it, it was part of the game. At graduation, I was in the best shape of my life.
Physical Fitness Exam for women was a joke.
If women can meet the standards, then the standards are too low.
I claim BS too, unless they lowered the standards, can a woman carry incapacitated man out of of firefight? Give me a break. And if captured? we have to worry about rape and such adding more risk.
I’m sure those female platoon leaders will be a big hit with units in Germany, i.e. those that spend eight months in the field (i.e. red mud) in Grafenwoehr.
I have no problem with women serving in combat units BUT if they cannot pass the same physical tests as men to do so then they shouldn’t be there. Some women (very few) will be able to do so, most won’t.
There is no reason at all that any man should join the U.S. Armed Forces. They want Homosexuals, Women and Transexuals to infest the forces. Let them take over the entire thing. Good luck in the next war. Nothing here is worth one of your loved ones lives anyway.
