Colin Kaepernick reminded everyone Sunday that the former Pro Bowl quarterback still has some life in that once-powerful right arm.
In the first half against the Saints, Kaepernick put on a show, throwing for 284 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in an eye-opening performance. It was the most passing yards by a 49ers quarterback in the first half since Steve Youngs 287 yards in 1997.

The 49ers lost, so they week is starting out right.
First in to say “Who?”
Colin Kaepernick = Kneel Young
Well, see, the thing is, football games consist of two halves.
The 49ers still got destroyed despite his effort.
It appears that what is good for Colin Kaepernick is not necessarily good for the San Francisco 49ers.
Who knew?!?
I wouldn’t have known this if you hadn’t posted because I no longer watch NFL or Fox Sports. So long to both of them
Too bad nobody was watching!
Hahahaha...he had the benefit of playing against one of the historically worst defenses in the leagues, namely my Saints.....BTW, if you watch the game “his” great performance is all due to the YAC....
Reminds me of Josh Rosen, the quarterback for UCLA who went on Trump’s Palos Verdes golf course in August with a “F**k Trump” hat. He has been so bad this season that Jim Mora, his coach, was quoted as saying “Josh Who?” UCLA has lost about every game they played.
With eight seconds left before the half, the New Orleans Saints had time for one play from the 49ers 13-yard line. On the play, every 49ers defensive back held to keep the Saints from scoring a touchdown. With just four seconds left on the clock, the Saints had to settle for a field goal.
And the Saints went on to Crush the 49ers in the second half.
Psychology matters. The Saints came into the game already thinking they were on the side of right. After the "clever" coaching of Chip Kelly at the end of the First Half (commonly known as cheating), both sides knew who was in the right, and who deserved to lose.
Second halves matter!
ps. 49ers were down by 11 at the half, New Orleans lead 31-20.
Seems I remember someone named Colin kaepernick..think he play ed sports or something?
Proof that the game is about more than stats. There are intangibles, and those suck for the 49ers this year.
I wonder why?
I hope San Francisco loses the rest of their games. A contrast to this punk was Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboy’s quarterback, who sang the National anthem and showed respect and class...
Then they lost and are 1-7 for the season, couldn’t happen to a more deserving loser...
Yes, he is a loser with good stats.
For the black panthers?
Screw the NFL.
Against one of the most ineffectual defences in NFL history.
