my son and i left the house at 620am and was at our polling place a few minutes later. about 50 or so in line, only a few red shirts/jackets but here in Cincy thats tough to decipher. Quite a few women with kids. I couldnt get a read on the voters, nobody was really talking.

My son is 13 but I let him fill the ballot out. Of course we voted Trump, ignored Portman but voted a independent, ignored Chabot but then went with the Republican down ticket except for a couple local races where I refuse to back Joe Deters who did not support a Republican in a recent trustee election.

Nothing left to do but pray, lock and load.

I went and voted early last week. Altogether there were about 14 elections being decided. Here’s the amazing thing: In about 10 of the races there wasn’t even a Democrat candidate on the ballot! Just the incumbent Republican! I’ve lived here all my life and even I was surprised. My God, what a fantastic part of America I live in!

Hey neighbor to the south! I’m kind of interested in the mood in Colorado since it has been portrayed as ‘iffy’ by the media. What’s your opinion?

Voted first thing this morning when the poll opened. I was the fourth person to vote. I am in Dupage County, IL, and the line was really beginning to grow as I finished voting and left the polling place. As promised, I voted for my dog for senator.

When I voted early here in NC, As I was walking into polling place I was handed a Dem blue sheet. I asked which Judges were Dem and after she helpfully showed me, I politely thanked her and said “ Now I know who not to vote for”. Her expression was priceless.

It’s hard to tell, honestly. We live in a red county, so I see a lot of Trump signs and bumper stickers. I haven’t seen a single Clinton yard sign.

In 2012 we lived in Denver, which is definitely blue, and it was similar; mostly Romney signs and little outward Obama support. It felt to me like Romney was going to win, and he didn’t. So I’m not sure that my gauge of the mood is accurate, but we will see!

Just outside Richmond, VA - I arrived in line at 6:05 a.m. and there were about 100 people ahead of me. Took about 1/2 hour all in all. When I left, the line was still the same length.

At the polls at 5:50... I was 14th in line. By the time they opened it was out the door 50+ people.

This is a suburban edge/country area

I lived in Louisiana for many years. Graduated from college in LA, met and married my wife in LA, and started my career in LA.

Wow, she just outright handed it to you? That’s tantamount to electioneering, which is illegal within a certain number of feet from a polling place (varies from state to state) - although I can’t say I’m surprised. I believe the most they’re allowed to do is ask “Would you like a voting guide?”

Voted in SE PA. 25 people ahead of me. Took 10 minutes to vote. As I was leaving, there was a longer than usual line. Not a lot of red.

Got up 5:00 to go vote. I have been worried that something would happen and for some reason I wouldn’t or couldn’t vote. No reason just that I’m worried about my vote.

I was the second one in line. Polls opened at 6:30. In and out, no problem. When I left at 6:35 there was a line outside the polling place in Republican area so that is a good sign.

This is in Central Ohio.

Central Ohio, (Kasich’s old district). Showed up at polls right when they opened. About 20 people in line. Started to fill up fast but...

THEN THE VOTING MACHINES ALL BROKE DOWN. NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO VOTE. They called in a tech person who had no idea what was wrong. I finally had to leave because I have to work. I’ll come back of course but IM FCKING PISSED.
