Voted first thing this morning when the poll opened up at 6:00 (Dupage County, IL). I was the fourth person to cast a vote. Straight Republican vote except for U.S. Senator, where — as I have promised — I wrote in my dog’s name.

In line now at my small-town firehouse in the cornfields of Hoosierland.

About a 30 minute wait.

Trump country.

Last week. Straight Republican except for 2 county officials who were running unopposed and who are RINOs.

I voted at a rural Missouri church. Arrived at 6:15am. Line was stretched out building and into the rain. In 2012, I arrived at the same time and was out of there in 10 minutes. Today took 45. Never seen anything like it.

Voted in Gloucester Point, VA this a.m. Arrived at the Sarah’s Creek precinct to a line of a rough count of 70 or so 10 minutes prior to opening. By opening time, the line had increased by about 30. Looks like a busy day!

Go Virginia! Crush the witch!

Tonight I go to the movies to avoid the wall-to-wall breathless coverage.

Ditto. My wife and I are going to watch a movie and put this who hot mess aside. We've voted, and there's nothing left to do but hope and pray.

VA is toast because of all the government workers and NE transplants. VA has been flipped blue — permanently. So sad, because I really like western VA (the Piedmont, Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah Valley).

Could you move this to breaking news and make it a live thread on voting today?

There are reports of very long lines everywhere and voting machine breakdowns. This could be very interesting.

The local conservative radio station, in Pa, is having people call in and say what they see. And all over the lines are long. in my small town their were dozens in line.

Western PA. Long lines BUT LOTS OF YOUNG VOTERS. Never saw so many young voters, many young women.

Not good for Trump

You must be in NOVA. That’s the only place in the country where an Obama voter would even know who McMuffin is.

Also in NJ, specifically South Jersey. voted around 7:30am. Steady crowd but not overwhelming. Typically I might have one to three people in front of me in line, today was more like five or six. In and out in less than 20 minutes.

My Trump vote has been recorded, I did my part to cancel out one fraud vote in Camden or Newark!

Hopefully it was just a typo but in case it wasn’t, there is only one internet. There is not two. There is not four. There is only one.

Don’t do it again.

Are you in a precinct that typically votes Dem or Rep?

I was in line at 6:45, ballot number 20. Poll workers said good turnout. Hard to tell which way Macomb County is going to go though, as it voted for Obama in last two elections, but huge turnout for the two Trump rallies in the county in the last week.

I will vote at my usual time, on the way home from work. Prime time at my polling place is 6:30 to 10:30 am. It was a 30 minute wait for those who showed up 10 minutes before the polls open (talked to voters on my morning jog). By 7 am it’s generally a 90 minute wait then tapers off. The after work crowd is a 10 to 20 minute wait.

The last presidential election was a mess here in Rio Rancho, NM. I dragged my family - wife and son - to the polling place early. Neither are morning people. It is 6:24am and we are the only ones in line. I am not a very popular person right now.
