Ok Michiganders. Here's a chat thread about your voting experience or anything related to Michigan and this historic day.
Voted his morning in Clinton township. Got to the polls at 6:55 and took exactly 1 hour to get finished voting. Long line in Macomb County.
You are confident that Trump will carry MI?
Is that a conservative area?

I work the event last night. more impressive than the sheer number of people was when the county mounted police were trotting up and down the line all of the folks were clapping and cheering the police for their work. I was humbled. what a group of people.
Michiganders are tired of holding their noses like we did voting for McCain and Romney and still seeing our state go blue. The turnout will be huge. And it will be so much fun to watch the talking heads as they explode.
Go for it! If Trump wins Michigan, he has an excellent chance of becoming President. Praying for you.
This is a news forum. But I sure am seeing a lot of vanity posts lately.
You know our readers generally frown on vanities (unless exceptional in quality) so if you feel the urge to post yet another run of the mill vanity, please resist it.

Took about 30 minutes in line because the ballot is so long, and no one really knows who have of the people even are.
Drain Commissioner? Dont we have job interviews for that?

No one used the one e-voting machine. It was all fill in the circle with a PEN.
Dont know what number I was, as the feed machine was broken. So it goes into a slot underneath. Weird.
It’s a small lefty precinct, full of hipsters and NPR types, and the Dem HQ is a street over, so I can’t really read anything into it.
Port Huron. I usually get there about 7:15 AM and have a ballot numbered in the 20’s. Today at 7:15 I was #354. Busiest I have seen it in my 30 years here. Liberal area, yet those who I spoke with are tired of liberals.
Would you stop posting that quote (I saw you did it in another thread as well). This is election day, and lots of people will be describing their experiences voting and what they see.
My relatives in Highland are all voting Trump. They also feel sure Michigan will go for Trump based upon all the signs and enthusiasm they are seeing. I also have relatives in Onaway who would never vote for Hillary. They will be voting Trump as well. GO TRUMP GO!
