Fairfax County VA is hard-core liberal.
At our voting location we have always been outnumbered by democrats (easy to tell by the sample ballots they get when going in).
Our family has a tradition of voting together. So this morning, we got up, had breakfast (me, the better half, and three college kids), then jumped in the cars to go vote.
There was a line of folks waiting for the republican sample ballot and I did not see one person going over to the democrat table. I couldn't believe my eyes.
I'm not saying this means anything, but that it is a stark contrast to previous elections.
I've vowed not to watch the news today (going hunting instead), but am going to wake up tomorrow for the result.

I really think Virginia could be a big surprise. It isn’t quite the blue lock the media leads us to believe and the polls tend to way overestimate democrat support. In the 2014 Senate race all the polls had the democrat up 10 points over the Republican, then on election day the democrat barely scrapped by with a .4% margin, so the polls were off a whopping 9.6% in the democrats favor. Also Virginia doesn’t have early voting (they have limited “show cause” absentee voting) so if the Hillary drones don’t drag themselves out of bed today, they don’t get another chance.

While I agree that vanities seem to have gotten out of control of late, I appreciate these live updates on polling conditions from my fellow Freepers. Perhaps a live thread is needed.
I would think that only the "Low Information Voters" would need a Sample Ballot on Election Day.

Today is going to be busy, and the endless vanities will simply push articles off the front page -- and they will be posted again.
Just keep tweeting that ‘To help preserve the peace, officials are asking that Republicans vote on Tuesday; Democrats on Wednesday.’

Hmmmm. Possibly the dnc has made “special” arrangements so all the dem voters have to do is call in and vote when they learn how many more votes they need to win.

I just got a new hunting coat, but it’s going back. What’s happened to Columbia, this one was made in Vietnam and wouldn’t fit a skinny metro-sexual. I’m done with them. I saw two deer on the way back from fishing yesterday at dusk and two the day before that. I had a dream about Trump last night. Today looks good for Patriots.
