It’s scary that formerly solid red states like Arizona were in play. Even Texas is heading that way. We lose Texas and it’s hasta la vista baby.

Including California, it looks true. If someone wants to claim vote fraud, fine. But if California wasn’t in the mix, vote fraud would be irrelevant.

Trump's victory margin in Texas was about 9.2 per cent. Romney's victory margin in the Lone Star State was 16 per cent. The suburban Dallas area counties of Denton and Collin were won by 20 and 17 percent, respectively, in 2016; four years ago, the margins were 32 percent in both counties. Perhaps it was a trail off by sore Cruz supporters, but it could be the result of influx of Mexicans, Asians, and Northerners to the state.

I would like to ask a question. Does anyone think that California could exist as an independant country.
It would be a country that had inadequate water supplies and very nearly out of it. It has a population that supports crippling governmental interference with EVERYTHING.
It’s industries would be dependant on the TWO countries enjoying cordial relations. California industry cannot exist on merely it own markets.
It is living on very active and dangerous continental faults that could slide it into the Pacific.
I really think an independant California would become, but not quitkly a North American Venezuela.

A lot of shows moved from Hollywood. A good many now film in Canada. The Chicago fire and other film in Illinois. We could survive without Hollywood.

If the difference is only 230,000 votes nation wide you only have to discount the DC Vote to give Trump the popular vote win.

This is a fruitless notion.

The United States isn’t giving up 1500 miles of the West Coast and all the resources of that state just because a bunch of sulky billionaires and left wing snowflakes don’t like the outcome of the election.

It doesn’t matter how many referendums, petitions, meetings, or protest marches are conducted. Unlike EU and BreExit, there is no provision in the US Constitution for a state to secede.

A lot of blood was shed preventing the last group to try it from succeeding. This really is a matter that the Federal government will kill its own citizens over to prevent if necessary. However, it won’t come to that. There will be mass arrests, trials, imprisonment, and martial law.

All those pouty billionaires will become zeros behind bars. No, when threatened, the cowards will flee to some overseas safe haven and leave theIr less financially well off supporters holding the bag. Their arrogance is matched only by their duplicity. Their true allegiance is only to themselves.

There is nothing in the Constitution preventing it, either. The South should have been told, "Good-bye, Good Luck, Wish You Well!" It is that whole freedom thing:

I understand that California is not likely to vote to leave. It would be suicidal for them. My point is that the America I grew up in still exists - outside of California. And if California did want to leave, I'd help them pack...

Don’t worry about the fruits and vegetables CA produces. We used to live north of Tucson and we had great produced grown across the border in Nogales.

They can become a separate People’s Democracy of Rancho Alto California and we will buy/ trade them for their cheap illegal alien goods.

But we better build that dang wall not only below Arizona but beside CA. Only those that show they have voted R consistently can come across to resettle here.

I was a Texas Cruz supporter until Trump clearly won fair and square. When our primary was held Trump was my 2nd or 3rd choice. But with the Trump victory I was on board. IMO Cruz was an a$$ having a tantrum and that’s definitely not presidential.

However, of all my conservative friends and family, dozens, I know no one who didn’t vote Trump even tho we were all originally Cruzbots. We are pretty much out of the big cities, maybe the Dallas/Collin county area conservatives thought differently. But my admittedly uninformed opinion thinks the difference was illegal voting.
