Not always. Some liberals have attributed being a crime victim to just punishment for white privilege.

I usually tell them that they are way too generous with other people’s money, that if they had true compassion, they would give their own money and their own time, but that just gets me called nasty names, most of which I cannot repeat in polite company.

The demoralization process in the United States is basically completed already for the last 25 years. Actually, it's over fulfilled because demoralization now reaches such areas where not even Comrade Andropov and all his experts would even dream of such tremendous success. Most of it is done by Americans to Americans thanks to lack of moral standards. As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures. ...he will refuse to believe it.... That's the tragedy of the situation of demoralization.

Exactly! I get so tired of hearing Warren Buffet, Hollywood types, and some others say that income taxes are too low. Really? If that’s the case, open your checkbook and write a million-dollar check to the IRS. And, if you’re not willing to do that, STFU ‘cuz the rest of us are struggling out here.

“Liberals” are captured by the Democrats with the lie that only the only good people are “liberal” and vote Democrat. Twice recently, I had not overtly political discussion with “liberal” folks. And when politics came up and they noticed I held conservative views, they responded “Oh, you are a conservative.... but you are a nice person!”

I hope that by being a nice, conversational person, that I have started a little cognitive dissonance that will result in their re-considering the blind commitment to democrat party.

Conversion is a private and painful process.

One should be as free to hoard the capitol from one’s labor as to give it away.

That said, Republicans should pass a voluntary wealth tax of 60% for these characters, put-up or shut-up.

(60% is approximately what Socialist European countries take.)

All families got their libs believe me. I have nuts on both sides, my aunt and my husbands aunts. It is a generational DNA thing bred into their overall mental illness. I love these aunts but crazy nuts all. Makes you wanna bang your head or theirs on a pole. LOL

These protestors are nothing more than rent-a-mob. Our crazy aunts would no more march with them than anything. All three of these women are on the front pew every Sunday. Their liberalism is a mental disease. Every time I bring up leftist politics to them their standard pat answer is “they all do it.” Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. You can’t fix stupid. I bite my tongue twice a year or during phone calls I talk about grocery shopping.

How to convert a liberal? Great question. Michael Medved believes you should be nice to them, find areas of agreement and then gently suggest that the consider the following data points, blah, blah, blah...

This is why Michael Medved had such severe TDS. He saw Trump wasn't playing all warm and cuddly style, aka RINO.

No, Trump has the formula. He will beat them and he will do it unmercifully. He will make them look like fools.

People love a winner. They want to be part of the winning side. Global Warming is a perfect example. People are accepting it because it is being presented as a slam dunk. The left has a strangle hold on media, universities and culture, so they paint the picture of a successful important campaign to save the planet. Easy to jump on that winning band wagon.

Defeat always generates converts. Who shows up to watch a loser football team or buys the losers jersey? But the jerseys of the winners can be found all over the planet.

Only the process of defeat and humiliation will reduce the enemy population. There are always the hard core who will hang on forever. But there are many who are “band wagon” fans who will change sides when the jersey they are wearing becomes a target of laughter.

Hadn’t thought of that one. But I don’t wanna be exposed for that long.

Another important consideration is the vicious smear campaigns that the libs put on Trump.

In the days just before the election, Huffington put out a screaming headline that Trump raped a 13 year old, yet the story had already been thoroughly debunked, and Huffington knew it. Gloria Allred was pushing that story and others, yet they knew them to be false.

Trump supporters were also called Russian spies, and all sorts of nonsense. The libs had many crazy conspiracy theories floating around.

The point is to debunk these stories (all have been, you just need the links), and to point out to people that the Dem. party deceived them, intentionally. It played them like idiots (which most are).

Nobody likes to be lied to in their face, yet that is exactly what the Dems and the Hillary campaign did, and we can prove it.

Disbarring Allred would help too. If you bring her down, you also bring down everybody who had faith in her.

The answer to the open border question is (apparently), that when Europeans came back in the 16th century that was freedom anything less is un-Americian ...

You do the math, I gave up.

How do you convert a liberal?

Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, you and your household.

That does not answer the question being presented. But Jesus does give us an example:

Yes it does. The word Christian is sadly thrown out and replaced with "conservative" principles. This is a subtle way to kick God out of politics but politics is pure religion.

The first time I thought as a liberal was when I was 12. I was horrified of images of grown men beating baby seals to death. I was outraged and wanted the government to do something about it. The weakness of my argument was I was enraged by FEELINGS and didn’t have the benefit of having MORE information on the background on what was happening.

I then came to Christ at age 17, and in the small town I grew up there was no “fiscal” or “social” conservative. Being a Christian just meant you were also plain old conservative. My first political arguments was in my Canadian high school in history class. I was the token conservative defending America in the very anti-American version of history we were taught. I don’t know why, just that the knee jerk anti-American version of history seemed too simple, too absurd.

I have seen that first hand by what we call the Human Rights Tribunals here in Canada. Holding a politically incorrect belief, and not having much money means you are at their mercy.

That is a good story for me to note for my 11 and 9 year old.

Right now I just try to encourage critical thinking in them.
