John Colter, the first white man to view yellowstone said a similar thing and people thought he was crazy.

Locals call it Cape Canaveral or just the Cape. The name change stunt was soundly rejected by natives.

If the caldera blows there won’t be much “here” around here anymore.

In any case, living with one of the world’s most dangerous super-volcanoes is still eminently preferable to living anywhere in the socialist state of California.
