Any chance the NYPD is aware of this and/or can do anything about it, even if Obama’s FBI and Department of Injustice do everything in their power to snuff out the truth and the evidence?
The NYPD had physical possession of the Weiner laptop for weeks before letting the FBI know about the contents. They had it as part of the sexting investigation. As is common in such investigations, all phones and computers of the suspect were seized. One version is Weiner willing gave it up, but I’d expect a warrant was involved for the search of the apartment and contents.
The NYPD was shocked and disgusted by what they found on the laptop in something labeled “Insurance Files.” According to reports it was blackmail child porn materials (individuals engaged in sex acts with kids created surreptitiously for leverage).
Weiner presumably kept the files as a “Get out of Jail Free” card if he was ever busted for his own criminal acts or just wanted to trade it for political favors. Recall that Hillary Clinton used hundreds of FBI files to blackmail Congress into voting not to impeach her husband years ago.
The files were handed over the FBI the day before Comey was forced to make his announcement. Of course, it was an attempt to STOP the actual investigation and real work being done by the NYPD and Comey quickly called off the dogs. It took the State Department six months to look at 30,000 emails. Comey’s group looked over 650,000 in a few days.
My belief though is that the NYPD guys either (1) kept a copy or (2) leaked what they had already.
After Weiner’s laptop was revealed Assange’s internet access was cut and major attacks have taken place against all of the Wikileak team taking them out of circulation. Assange may or may not be dead.
They may have realized given the LARGE number of VIPs involved (former president and his wife being among them) best to wait until after the election. If Trump wins, get him the info, or regardless of campaign winner get it out to the public at large.
What would that do?
If the public sees all of it, game over for EVERY politician involved. Arrested, kicked out of office, loss of power.
The decision wouldn’t be up to Trump then. It’d be the large public outcry for prosecutions to take place. Even the Dem loyalists would (for the most part) cave and call for prosecution if it involved underaged girls or boys.

I have been wondering what team in what enforcement agency may be untainted and unsuppressed. A team of investigators with research resources and the power of cross-examination of operatives...would eventually bring some truth to light.
