In Downton Abbey he’d be downstairs polishing shoes... Things haven’t changed all that much since then in high society.

Amazing, though, his success, given that wheezy voice of his. A singer who can’t sing gets rich doing that.

I mean, he named himself a verb, present tense. cause he’s not stung, he’s not stinging....he’s STING.

His real name is Gordon, and he changes it to Sting ? Who’s got the balls to tell their friends to call him Sting ? Cause at one point in his life, he had to remind them :
- Excuse me, from now on would you mind calling me Sting ?

- F___ you. Yeah, my name is Bite and this is my friend Scratch. Now get me a beer, Gordy.

- Sorry. Two beers light, coming right away. I’m gonna grow up and be a rock star, you’ll see. Wherever you go, I’ll watching you …, I’ll watching you …

Sting would rather vote for a “chimpanzee than Bush”

I call BS. He’s avoiding taxes.

Just like John (Imagine there's no taxes) Lennon.

I read a lot of British news. They hate it when somebody rises above his class. You can be a drunk, live on welfare but if you “become too grand” they will whine about you.

Had to look that up - didn’t know he was in Quadrophenia.

I did like him in his role in the 80’s flick Stormy Monday, though.

Touché!

Another good thing to say about Sting is that AFAIK he’s not one of those obnoxious faux SJW types (think Geldof, Cumberbatch, et al.).

To Dylan’s credit, he’s a successful song writer :)

I think Country’s roots probably lie with Scotch-Irish descendants in America. Supposedly there’s also a Celtic influence as well.

If Dylan’s songwriting were any good, he’d be awarded some highly prestigious prize.

Ha! What say you now?

The thing is that when the elite fall over there, a huge vacuum appears and when a group fills that vacuum, the rest of them become second class citizens, truly, to the new elite. That elite is about to be Muslim. It’s a perfect setup for them.

It’s time for Europeans to become more like Americans politically and socially, with their own distinctiveness of course, or they will lose what little freedom they possess. Take it to the bank.

I grew up in the great NYC, but if I were super famous I’d move there. NYers don’t really get over awed about famous people, they’ll live and let live.

I think one thing about Trump that is GREAT is that he is a real NYer. He’s not going to be all blown away by DC, not at all.

Europeans have long been known as being jealous and hateful of another’s rise in “class”.

Thankful that “class” is not a thing in the US. But Americans are now as being happy for other’s success in making money ... European’ are jealous and deceitful.

Americans appear to think that they, too, will move up.

Well, of course. They can't afford trainers...

Which explains the attraction of Communism and Fascism to European, as both promised to do away with class distinctions.
