I hate theaters too, but stadium seating is really brilliant.

I honestly can’t remember the last good experience I had in a movie theater

I DO, My daughter was conceived in the back seat at the drive in.

Hollywood is also funded by Communist China. They are committing suicide like newspapers. Commie China is getting scripts rewritten.

“The writers of Rogue One could have taken a crap in the car of Star Wars nerd and they’d have still driven to the theater and seen that film opening night.”

I must be a different type. To me, the Star Wars movies started sucking after they rescued Hans Solo in ROTJ. I saw one of the prequels because the family wanted to see it, but don't remember much of the plot. The Force Awakens was A New Hope. Not going to see Rogue 1 if I can avoid it.

I was a big fan of the Marvel movies, but after finding out what a jerk Chris Evans is, I don't really care to see them either.

The thing is, though, as others have noted, the new Will Smith movie bombed cause it sucks, not cause of people refusing to see a movie cause Will Smith is in it. Heck, Jane Fonda could get people into the theater, and she's a traitor. It's all about if people enjoy the movie. Nothing else.

Can you imagine how Jazzy Jeff feel about Smith’s success. Gotta be driving him close to suicide.

I just looked up "DJ Jazzy Jeff" on wiki ... he's doin' all right.

I beg to differ. My daughter was born after I turn 58. Once she learned to walk I almost think she is suicidal. I was watching her (she was almost 3) and thought it safe to go into the house to get something. When I returned (in less than 2 minutes) I could not find her.

As I searched I thought I heard something, and there she was hanging on the outside of a railing 20 feet in the air. I panically called my wife while I waited under her in the hopes to catch her in case she fell. Luckily my wife was able to get her before that.

So the trailer of a Father losing a young daughter really home to me. For the first time after 4 tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, I felt genuine fear. So I was actually interested in this plot

Not only do I thank God for making through that incident, I thank God every day for her. I literally call her “my gift from God.” I tell my wife every day that I am blessed and lucky to have both of them.

“Collateral Beauty” - Honestly, I have not heard about this movie. I wonder if they advertised it anywhere?

Just watched the trailer and there is no way on earth I would even watch that on Netflix. Even the title sucks. Collateral Beauty? Yuck. Now, Collateral Crimes — that’s a title!

The Force Awakens was in my opinion the very worst of them all. Rogue One was actually somewhat good. As I said, for those of us who played Star Wars Galaxies, many of the scenes appeared to come from the game. The scene with Darth Vader on the lava planet in the building is a direct copy of the building in SWG. The whole movie seemed highly influenced by SWG, including many of the shown spacecraft.
