I need an intervention.
During that time I had plans to do some chores around the house, catch up on FR and watch the most recent seasons of House of Cards and the Walking Dead on Netflix.
Instead, I've spent the past three days on YOU TUBE watching the 11/8/2016 election coverage as originally aired on ABC, CNN, FOX and NBC.
John King brings up the election map, telling Blitzer how dire a situation it is for Clinton, and, when CA is called for Clinton, Blitzer gets so excited as Clinton takes a lead in the electoral college, as if everything King told him earlier had never been said.

Shots of the excited crowd early on at the Javits Center where the beast was supposed to be coronated, which slowly turned to tearful and the despondent correspondents (Andrea Mitchell, Brianna Keeler........) reporting on it

Maybe I'll put in for another week off.

I am thrilled beyond words to see your post.
I watched a few minutes with the volume down (no lip smacking NPR sound!). Body language was interesting — arms folded, shoulders hunched over, heads down, perplexed look on faces, shaking heads in disbelief, and arm gestures pushing away.
As was CNN finally projecting Donald Trump as the winner AFTER Hillary concedes.
I am almost through reading the 10k+ post election night FR thread. It doesn’t get old. So many good posts but the one I loved the most was an image of the Drudge Report sometime between 11 and midnight eastern time with the headline Trump on the verge of the Presidency World is Shocked!!!! It encapsulated the whole night.
John King all but grabbed Blitz by the neck and shook him. “THERE ARENT ENOUGH AREAS LEFT FOR HER TO GET THOSE VOTES, WOLF!!!!” Best election moment in my lifetime.

I’ve watched the The Young Turks video 3 times, and I enjoyed it each time. I laugh like someone mentally ill.
I’ve watched the entire ABC coverage, albeit only once. The 7th minute of the 1am coverage on ABC had the most appeal for me. It’s when Martha Raddatz marvels that all their maneuvering nowithstanding, the voters went out and rebuffed the efforts of the press to keep them from exercising their franchise.
