CYBERSECURITY tycoon John McAfee has blasted claims Moscow was involved in hacking the US presidential election, insisting it was “not the Russians”. He called the FBI’s claims of the Kremlin hacking the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta a “fallacy”.
Speaking to host Larry King on RT America, he argued the report was part of a ploy to “manipulate our opinions”.
The computer programmer said: “This is what the FBI and other agencies want us to believe so that they can manipulate our opinions, but I can promise you – if it looks like the Russians did it, then I can guarantee you it was not the Russians.”
“When the FBI or when any other agency says the Russians did it or the Chinese did something or the Iranians did something – that's a fallacy,” said McAfee.
“Any hacker capable of breaking into something is extraordinarily capable of hiding their tracks. If I were the Chinese and I wanted to make it look like the Russians did it I would use Russian language within the code.

See how quickly this has seeped into the nation’s thoughts? It will be believed as fact the ruskies tossed the election to Trump as time moves on regardless of facts. It’s like hands up don’t shoot.
Of course the Russkies hack into the US, that is what they do, but, I don’t think they, the Russkies, are smart enough to see anything worth hacking at the DNC or Hitlery campaign. That was left up to someone else.

Radio Free Europe, Sputnik, and Russian Times-America. Those are the sources of the three articles I’VE seen today debunking the Russian “hacking” allegations.
Seems to me we need sources we can attach some credibility.
Why bother debunking allegations that have so far been backed by zero evidence?
It is ridiculous. I have been trying to get my husband to understand but, he doesn’t believe that all of these entities would be wrong/lie. I understand his concern because he grew up when the country was concerned about the Russians and nuclear war. It is frustrating.
When you look at the content that was hacked, who cares who hacked the info. Be it insider, Russian, Mossad, Anonymous, Whomever.... they did the USA a solid. We owe them a debt of gratitude. People (other than some FReepers) had on blinders to the root corruption in the Dim party.

I agree that it looks worrisome, right now anyway, but I think Trump will get them back to doing their jobs and out of politics. Obama has politicized every facet of government, including the military and intelligence.
Trump really has his hands full. It will take him 4 years just to get this mess sorted out...
As far as it being in the news, it’s a story they can use to keep pegging away and try to undermine Trump’s presidency, but I don’t think they realize it is also going to be just one more nail in the democrats’ coffin. They’re self destructing before our eyes. I think that’s why Trump and his crew are just letting it run its course.
And they still haven’t figured out their biggest mistake...

It was not sophisticated hacking. Anybody could have done it. Total partisan politics joke now from the kenyan.
Democrats in cahoots with Big Data have created an AI Bot.
This Bot is what’s making all these incredible decisions and writing these crazy talking points.
And they all move in unison.
And they all speak in common themes.
And none can figure out why it’s not working.
Because they have ceded all independent thought to the Bot.

Mcfee is bat shit crazy but he does understand computer security as he is the best. If he said the sun rises in the west I would know he is still bat shit crazy. If he says the Russians did not do this, I believe him.
