Kellyanne said in an interview she knew on Oct 22 that they were going to win. I believe it was then that they knew they would win Michigan, and hence the election.

I read the dire so confident predictions that Trump would LOSE in a landslide...that he had no chance, ever...

then I would see those crowds lining the streets to see him, night and day, and waiting up late to see him...

and he would be followed at those rallies by many thousands on you tube or facebook...

and his message was great, with great delivery...down to earth but right on topic...

then I would read that several people who are usually right about these things predicting he would win...

and then the witch cancelling her fireworks display..

the harder the SCM attacked him the more fear they displayed....

Trump is one confident alpha male and I hope we're ready for him....LOL... I didn't brag over him when he won....I just had my inner smile and happiness....

he did it...

Did he not lose a primary and he insisted he won?

Found out bout some funny rules afterwards however and did not make the same kind of mistake again...

In fact, whupped Htlery by paying real close attention to the “rules” of each state ......Again lost by ‘numbers’ , but WON !

Most of us on FR were fairly confident he'd win. There were a few very vocal chickens little - they were posting too much - nuff said.

Mrs Xlinton was the worst possible candidate. She was passing out at rallies where she'd only bring 20 or 25 people. They oversampled democrats by 7-12 % and they were resting on their laurels in August! I was in bed by 9pm PST. - when DJT killed Florida, it was over

When you had 12,000-plus to 22,000-plus attendees at EVERY Trump rally the week before Election Day, you knew the support was there for him to win.

Especially when Kaine had a low of three (3) turn up for one of his campaign gatherings.

He was understandably concerned election night. Polls had her leading for months, and the exits did show she would win fairly easily. The kids were telling him things didn’t look so good.

I recall him saying that he really didn’t quite believe the election day polls based on his rally sizes. Kelly Ann and his numbers guru were in disagreement with the polling. The campaign’s internal polling called every state right except for Wisconsin and Colorado.

Have to admit, I sat in front of the TV hopeful, but apprehensive at 7PM. Put a pot of coffee on at 9PM. At the start of the night, the only ray of hope I could find were results from some rural Indiana and Kentucky that had him winning 80/20. Enough to make one go hmmm in the face of exit polling.

OH was always in the bag
NH looked really close and it was
AZ no sweat
MI clearly in play
PA clearly in play
NC maybe close but we’ll win

And WI was No Chance to almost everyone (including me) but maybe not the Trump team. So there was no way that Trump would have thought he was out it the morning of 8 Nov 16.

We knew the polls were lies when Hillary got on TV and cried ‘why aren’t I 50 points ahead.

We don’t have television in our house and a friend invited my family over for dinner and to watch the results roll in. My friend was a Trump supporter but believed the polls. I kept telling him Trump would handily win. Watching the poll results come in and the ensuing talking head media meltdown was one of the highlights of my adult life.

I bet I have watch the meltdown videos on Youtube 50 times.

I will be doing anything I can to support President Trump and his final destruction of the ruling class elites.

Truly amazing when you really ponder what has and is happening.

MAGA!!!!!!!

Yup.

IIRC, they cancelled on the Wednesday before the election, but it didn't hit to news until that Saturday.

Some 'suggested' it was Homeland Security or the Fire Marshalls that caused them to cancel.

I think there were two factors for everybody: when your *brain* told you when he would win, vs. the date your *gut* told you. My brain knew it Oct 1, but my gut didn’t until Nov 1. And oddly, my gut told me HRC *wouldn’t* win more so that he would, which is the same thing.. but different because I felt relief in her loss days before I felt his victory. If that makes sense.

Not to be dramatic, but while watching the election results things were fast and furious starting at 7 pm eastern as polls started to close and it was nip and tuck for awhile and I will admit, I was starting to lose hope 8:30 ish to 9 when he lost Virginia and NC and FL were close. But something happened between 9 and 10:30...I can’t explain it, but I felt like something dramatically changed...I got a text from my son that showed the NY Times showing Trump with a 95% chance of winning...it seemed like there was an absolute reversal of everything in about 90 min.
