Our version in high school was called “War Ball.” We used over inflated volleyballs. A red kickball was also in play. If a player made a basket on the opposing team’s side without getting hit, his “out” teammates came back in.
Saw a kid get his arm broken when hit with two balls in quick succession. 5 th grade, maybe. And 1 fight in high school. I loved dodgeball.
Haha. One’s confidence builder is often another’s shame.
