Two armed men chose the wrong place to attempt a robbery Monday morning, when an employee at the Cobb County gun shop confronted them and shot one dead at the scene, Cobb County police said.
The two men entered Dixie Gun and Pawn at 11 a.m. and attempted to rob the business.
A store employee happened to be armed and exchanged gunfire with the men, striking one of them. The robbery suspect died at the scene, police said.
The other suspect fled on foot. Police said Monday afternoon they have no information about him.
The worker was not injured and the case remains under investigation.

It just baffles the mind how anyone could be so low on the IQ scale as to rob ANY store in Georgia never mind a gun store. I think you don’t need a permit to buy in that state or a license to own which is probably why I never heard of anyone getting robbed in Georgia...and these guys rob a gun store? LOL!
Gunsmoke, and that was with smokeless powder. Imagine the Old West where they used black powder, that room would have been so filled with smoke that you wouldn't be able to see through it.
Anyone could only hope to do as well as this man did.

Of all the places these idgits could’ve robbed, this place and this dude should’ve been last on the list, right behind the local Legion.
Guess they were figuring this dude was just gonna meekly give in like all the fast food chains these robbing crews have been butt raping along the u.s. 78 corridor.
