“Definitely the most important election of my life...and I’m 73.”

You have me beat by 8 years, but I agree. The closest to it was the election of 1980.

I say, I say there, that was a mighty fine try at a joke there, son. But Rhode Island Red was a college buddy of Foghorn's. Foghorn was a Leghorn rooster.

Al Gore killed it in 2000 with his frivolous election lawsuit.

Your response is greatly appreciated. Despite anticipated complaints about blog pimping, I, too, thought the original author made some excellent points worth posting at the risk of this thread being pulled.

HRC would have complete the job.

If I may stick my nose in....

HRC would have been a less damaging president in 2008 - note that I said "less damaging", not "good choice" - because she didn't have the either the political chutzpah, or the hatred for America to push through the reforms that BO achieved.

However, she was most certainly politically savvy enough, along with a complicit media, to cement in place all of the political "gains" that were obtained by BO.

"The Most Important Election of our Time" is a trite cliché. However, 2016 truly may have been. I'm not sure that America could have recovered - heck, I'm still not sure. But I do know that with Trump leading the charge, at least we have a chance.

I am not sure that there will be very many people protesting in DC during the Inauguration. Sharpton had a gathering on Saturday that only 500 attended.

The threats of violence may have stopped a lot of people who would have otherwise attended the demonstrations.

Let's see what happens.

The is the logical end outcome of adopting the Saul Alinsky ethos 45 years ago.

I’ve been constantly begging God for mercy for our nation.. to the point of feeling like a mooch.

Nah....don't feel that way. I'm quite sure He likes it when we ask for good things, even if we ask over and over again.

See Luke 18:1-8

None of this is new. I watched “Victoria” last night and when 18 year old Victoria ascended the throne, the Tories busied themselves in trying to get rid of her through rumor and innuendo.

The democrats only claim illegitimacy because historically, their accusations, along with media help, have not been challenged with any vigor. George W Bush decided he would be noble-minded and let the democrats slap him over everything until the population began to believe and accept it. So they intend to try it with Trump. Trump hits back quickly before it takes root.

Then we’ll be happy to help those little blue isles ‘secede’ from normal America.

Then the illegal alien problem will just get worse as anyone who is working tries to flee.
