Hey, ‘SNL': Rosie O’Donnell Poses as Steve Bannon in Bid for New Gig

Yeah, we’re thinking Rosie O’Donnell is definitely gunning for that “Saturday Night Live” guest gig. And she might deserve it too, after updating her official Twitter profile picture Thursday night with a scary-accurate Photoshopped image of her as White House Advisor Steve Bannon.

Earlier this week it emerged via Politico that beleaguered White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer drew boss Donald Trump’s severe displeasure thanks to a Melissa McCarthy’s brutal, and highly celebrated portrayal of him on “SNL.” Trump’s problem? Not that she made him look like a petulant buffoon, but that she was “she.”

Apparently, Spicer’s job is on shaky ground because Trump thinks being played by a woman made him “look weak.”

Completely agree. The comedy now is mean-spirited.

Pretty sad that SNL cannot rely on its own staff to make comedy anymore. Why not just fire them and bring a weekly batch of new celebs? Honestly I cannot remember a sketch in the last few years that was non-political that was remember-able in any way. There have been a few things like ‘Dick in a Box’, but they are not even recorded in front of an audience. Lets face it, they are pissed because they could not ‘Sarah Palin’ Trump, so they are doubling down and trying to throw the shit at everyone and see what sticks.

My exact thoughts: no one knows Bannon, his mannerisms or his voice. What’s the point? It’s like imitating the voice of a silent film star.

Uh, yeah. Keep telling yourself that. SNL is so powerful that it will get Spicer fired.

Obviously this is left wing activist inside humor and doesn’t translate well to humans.

Well, if they want to depict Bannon as a troglodyte I can’t think of a better person than Rosie O’Donnell to accomplish that. She probably gets a secret sexual charge out of play-dressing and acting as a male, too, so she has other motivations.

This will be hailed as hilarious by the left for the entire 4 weeks of its run.

The problem is, other than a still photo, most people don’t know him.

again who gives a ***? 20 articles the day on here about how mainstream Media or actors and actresses are making fun of trump for doing this or that. Are we that insecure that we care and they are worth posting about? Trump is an office for 1400 days. Save your strength. I could see getting annoyed before the election as this might have switched the votes of some buffoons but who gives a flying *** now?

seems to me FR is giving too many losers too much publicity.

There should be a conservative version of SNL. Far more material with the likes of Sheila Jackson Lee, Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Reid, Warren...and the like.

Wanna bet that observation is total BS.
