Big Van Morrison fan here. Thanks for the post. One of my best buddies used it for his wedding song.

I wish more artist today could belt out soulful melodies like Morrison.

Big Van fan here as well. Have seen him 5 times in concert, first was in 1972. This song is from "Poetic Champions Compose", which was not a big seller but I feel represents some of his best work up to that point in time (1987).

I suggest to all freepers to just put this album (yes I do still have the album) on as background music the next time you are having a nice glass of wine or your favorite beer and just want to sit and chat with the one you love.

Other notable tracks:

Allan Watts Blues
Give me My Rapture Today
I forgot that Love Existed
Queen of the Slipstream

My Musical tastes ranged through the Beatles, the Stones, Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis, Motown,Classic Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz, Classical, Pink Floyd, Gypsy Jazz, Romantic Era Piano, Allman Bros, Southern Rock, The WHO, and more.

But through it all,
There has always been Van Morrison.

My Van Fan Fav is "Stranded". Great listen, but definitely not a wedding type song... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9m4hvx3YG0
