Odd. I love that movie to the point where I name my computer "Hal" or laptop "Sal" but I would not have picked out that quote as one of the greatest quotes of all time.
"Just what do you think you're doing, Dave?"
Once, I even replaced all of the Windows sounds with 2001 movie sound clips.

The single movie quote I seem to use constantly, in working in the military, is Cool Hand Luke. “What we have here is a failure to communicate”.
The second is pretty much every line from “The Search for the Holy Grail”, especially “Bring out your dead!”.
