He's black by any sane person's definition. All Cleveland TV newscasters aren't as nonsensical as the ones being politically correct. WOIO finally got an older black reporter (competent and mostly put out to pasture), Harry Boomer, on the air. He reported in such a way to try to encourage a fellow black man to turn himself in, to talk it out with someone.

The sad story is there are totally competent newspeople, all races, who have been put out to pasture. Instead, they hire dingbats who say things like "it's dark out now so it will be harder for the police to find him".
