If those clowns were paying attention, they would have known that Hillary collapsed last September.

Maybe it will cut down on the line to the summit.

It could no longer handle the shame of having the same name as one of the most corrupt, immoral, drunken pigs in the history of American politics.

If you do a search I think you’ll find his name is spelled with two ‘l’s.

"You know. Hillary Clinton was named after him. Her parents were so smart they knew he would be famous before anyone knew his name. Freeking sociopath Lieing when there is no reason. "

Wow! And all this time I thought he was named after Hillary Clinton.

It looks like the primary slabs are still there but the smaller jigsaw pieces fell off

I read that Hillary dropped steeply in popularity for baby girls names, starting in 1992, when the Clintons came on the national political scene.

Hillary, either with 1 L or 2 Ls, was never extremely popular in the first place for baby girls. But it’s interesting that the steep drop in baby girls with that name happened right when Hillary became a household word. Coincidence??

I have climbed on dangerous peaks before. Eiger, Matterhorn, Popocatepetl, Orazaba, Cayambe, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo, Aconcagua (Polish Glacier Route), Cho Oyu. I know people who have climbed Everest, but I am now over 50 years old and that increases risk greatly on Everest or any of the other peaks over 7,000 meters. I have seen some death from altitude complications and think it is too much risk now for me.

This is so funny. This story is about the Hillary step on Mt. Everest, but most of the comments are about Hillary Clinton.

in my lead post, I almost typed, ‘let the jokes begin’ but figured that would be redundant :)

It looks like a loose jumble of rocks. You spend all that effort to get up there then it collapses underneath you....whoosh! down to the bottom!

“Mount Everest’s Hillary Step collapses”

The myth of Edmund Hillary being the first person to reach the summit of Mount Everest collapsed a long time ago. Tenzing Norgay was the first person to reach the summit.
