New Evidence Obama Administration's NSA Spied On Americans
Real Clear Politics ^ | 24 May, 2017 | Ian Schwartz

FOX News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen reports documents show NSA systematically violated rights of countless Americans.

JAMES ROSEN: On the day President Obama visited Los Angeles last October, to yuck it up with Jimmy Kimmel, the National Security Agency were quietly informing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) that NSA had systematically violating the rights of countless Americans. A subject covered, ironically, on Kimmel's program...

Declassified documents first obtained by the news outlet Circa show the FISA court sharply rebuked the Obama administration. 'With greater frequency than previously disclosed to the court, NSA analysts had used U.S. person identifiers to query the results of internet "upstream" collection, even though NSA's section 702 minimalization procedures prohibited such queries.'

Minimization refers to the precautions the government is supposed to take to ensure that its infringement on the rights of citizens is at a minimum. Judges blasted NSA's institutional lack of candor and added: 'This is a very serious 4th Amendment issue.'

The documents show it was back in 2011 when the FISA court first found NSA's procedures to be 'stautorially and Constitutionally deficient with respect to their protection of U.S. person information.'

Getting coverage only on Fox. CNN and others will never touch this.

James Rosen has been lucky to survive as long as he has
No heart issues
No catastrophic automobile failure
No botched robbery
No onset of severe depression and suicide with 2 shots to the head

Obviously Fox is a Russian propaganda outlet and must be outlawed.

Well you just know that our congress critters didn’t know a thing about this until they saw it on the news.
What are they going to do about it?! Meh! Maybe _itch and moan and then move on.

This is not news to anyone who has been paying attention.

And it's not a surprise to anyone who paid attention back when they passed the Patriot Act.

gunnyg :" If so, of course THEY ARE!!!!!!

Obviously they have too much money for technology
and too much time on their hands
Eliminate both, or begin restrictions, until they come under Constitutional control, since they even lie to Congress.
Without 'whistle blower' input from Snowden, Americans wouldn't even know that they are spying on all American communications.

Fox is not as conservative as many of us would like, but it provides far better coverage of issues important to us than other news outlets. And its coverage of President Trump is much more positive than ANY of the alphabet networks.
For sure, I often get irritated—and irate—with certain Fox commentators when they broadcast their liberal views and ideas, and trash some of my favorite champions of conservatism.Yet, when it comes to reporting major news stories, they are by far and away the least unfair and unbalanced major news network.
So—to me—if I were to turn off and tune out Fox because I don’t like some of their reporting, I would be as guilty of “snowflake”ism as those who have melt-downs over having to listen to anyone with whom they don’t TOTALLY agree.
HOWEVER, when it comes to watching CNN, as I have actually tried to do lately, their incredibly biased reporting makes it impossible not to experience MAJOR melt-downs, and INSTANT channel-switching! :)!

Fox "News" isn't even a news channel any more, they've gone fully into the same tabloid type reporting that the others have been doing. They are also completing their shift to being a left-leaning tabloid station instead of a right-leaning tabloid station.

I don't have any use for the tabloids... right or left. I prefer to get actual news.

OAN is emerging as a source for actual news... I'll enjoy that for as long as it lasts.

People need to go to ass pounding prison over this, but I know better. The political elites are above the law and never receive the punishment I would receive. I am furious that justice will not be done.
