Many years ago there was a far-right nut newsletter writer who took snippets of the truth (i.e. from govt reports) and made very libelous claims about people and organization.
No sane reporter in our newspaper or group ever would touch his stuff because we did our own research and found that his was full of shit and fantasy. He never learned the subject properly (from former FBI and police intelligence agents) to know how to handle even the factual information he had.
This is a real problem for our side. Some people spin a good yarn but when you dissect it for accuracy and factualness, it is “found lacking”, if not libelous and defamatory, not to mention purely BS.
Guys like Jones and a few others give honest investigative journalists/researchers a bad name, and the LEFT always uses those idiots against the rest of us.
I’ve been in the reporting business for over 45 years (with hundreds of columns, newsletter articles, studies, etc) and have never been shown or proven to be wrong (with the exception of one printing typo that I was not responsible for).
It took me decades of understudying the top men in the intelligence field to get a fuller view of how to handle information responsively, accurately and in the proper context.
I’m proud of my reputation for accuracy and context because my mentors were honorable, competent professionals, not talk-show hucksters. They made it imperative that I/others be responsible in how we handle information that we write for the public.
As for Megan Kelly, who gives a damn about an overly ambitious bleached hair “once-was”.
Try Kimberley Guilfoyle if you want one smart woman media analyst. She knows how to handle information responsibly.

Back in the 80’s a controversial preacher was being hounded by the Press for an interview. Hounded. So this preacher arranged a sit down with a news organization and he presented a legal document to the press for signature that outlined his willingness for Interview only if certain conditions were met.
(I’m paraphrasing here)
1. His organization would be allowed to record it and retain the rights to the interview.
2. The interview had to be presented whole and not edited as to change the context of the questions or answers.
The news organization refused, he was never interviewed. Which suited this controversial preacher just fine as he wasn’t interested in publicity nor self aggrandizement. He had more important things to accomplish.
Why anyone would waste time interviewing Jones defies logic.
