Sessions really is totally out of the investigation handed to Mueller in the appointment letter. He has no input there. Any negotiation of Mueller scope of investigation is between Mueller and Rosenstein.
Mueller has a handful of FBI open investigations. Flynn, Manafort, Carter Page, and a couple more (names escape me). He can run those down without any conflict. If he is tempted to pick up obstruction, he'll consider that this opens up a conflict inquiry, at least. He and Rosenstein can avoid all the baggage that comes with a conflict inquiry, easily.
Deferring the obstruction accusation doesn't make it go away, it just affects who it gets assigned to, if it is ever assigned.
I'm reluctant to paint Rosenstrin as a skunk, in light of his "these are the reasons Comey is not a good guy for the FBI" memo. That memo is a work of art. It will go down in history.
Mueller, I don't trust. And he is old enough to be totally indifferent about damage to his reputation. But just because there are plenty good reasons to not trust him, doesn't mean he will try to skin Trump.
I truly believe that if Our President doesn't get a handle on these traitors within, the next stop is Civil War.
Does it not bother anyone that all the members of the Select Committee on Intelligence new for months that Trump was not under investigation and yet they let Schumer and Schiff go forward making all these baseless charges, even letting them hold investigations on something that was not true?
This is us and Trump against the deep swamp and not talking about this serves no one. Unless of course you are pulling for CW II, I am not.
ps. You know if those scum on the committee knew Trump was not under investigation so did the MSM, yet what has dominated the news?
You Lou Dobbs and I agree.
