The problem with Deace is that his inability to accurately assess reality was proven deficient early on with President Trump, which makes anything he now offers up as damaged goods. Mueller is a big, big problem for the President. President Trump instinctively knows it. Mueller must resign pursuant to the DOJ 28 CFR conflict of interest prosecutor's reg. There should be no debate on this point. If Mueller will not bow out on his own, Rosenstein needs to enforce the reg.

The Gop would have to impeach. Sad they are still a party in the US. They offer nothing. A lot of the things the democrats say about them are true, unfortunately. Many in the Gop, are democrats anyway. Paul Ryan , McCain, the Bushes the list goes on. One party system.

If Trump is impeached, millions of voters will see it as illegitimate overturning of a legal election. The thing is, the creatures in Washington don’t care about legitimacy, or even the appearance of it.

Having seen the Gop up close. I can say that govt workers are sent into the local Gop in order to push everything to the left. The jump on a couple got button issues like guns. But aren’t conservatives. When they get into office they go left wing.

Fire Mueller immediately.

Then make the following statement.
And keep repeating it.

The Democrat Party offers the American people nothing.

It really is that simple.

After Clinton impeachment has become perfunctory. Mr. Trump should halt all investigations and demand impeachment. Put up or shut up.

Mueller should(but does not) have the integrity to recuse himself due to his bromance with Leaker Comey. At a very minimum Trump and all supporters need to loudly and frequently point out Mueller’s total lack of honesty and integrity.

Actually this guy it mostly right. We'd lose a lot of the wishy washy independents that voted for Trump. Now if Trump would simply say I'm giving Mueller 4 months to come up with something after that he's gone then Trump would gain wide support. He appears reasonable giving the guy plenty of time to investigate while at the same time knowing most people don't like endless investigations.

Under Obama, he placed black DOJ’s a man and then a woman. By doing this- it scared the Repubs into daring to bring charges against them. The most that happened was Holder was charged with contemp. No investigations into Lynch, Bill meetings.

They were worried if they dared to start investigations before a Presidential election they would lose.

So they win Presidential election and decide to allow investigations into their President because 63 million people wanted Hillary so they will put on the dog and pony show so they can win their own elections.

It’s too far gone now- the investigations are turning into more investigations after each person testifies. Presidents people are having to lawyer up.

Sessions speech could have included CROWDSOURCE and the fact it was owned by a Russia I believe; he could have mentioned the sale of Uranium to Russians via donation to CF. He could have mentioned the 500K donation Bill received by Russians. He could have mentioned the Pakistanis who hacked and stole info under Congress people, especially Wasserman.

Someone who testifies needs to mention the Russian connection back to Hillary and they better do it fast.

I don’t understand why every Constitutional militia in the country has not publicly announced that it is prepared to protect the Trump presidency. That would put the fear of God into them.

As has been stated in many articles by legal scholars, Trump has the power to pardon Gen. Flynn, which would effectively stop the FBI investigation (unless they wanted to publish a report - which Trump could classify as Eyes Only and bury).

So, he cannot obstruct justice in this case.

The article on Steve Bannon’s “Flood the Zone” strategy is the most logical response to all of this. Simply initiate so many EO’s and regulation cancellations and legislative ideas that the press cannot cover them all in 30 minutes.

Also, I think the Clinton Foundation is going to come back into focus now that Huma has turned state’s evidence and the lost emails have been found in Dearborn, MI.

Absolutely right, a first year law student could see could all the conflicts of interest problems with Mueller going forward with this. He should recuse himself, but like most pompous lawyers, he sees himself above any conflicts.

a course of action that will likely end with him before Speaker Pelosi’s Congress pressing impeachment in 2019

So, this guy's entire thesis is based on the assumption that the Repubs loose the House in 2018? Not sure taking advice from a pessimist is a good idea.

How long have they been investigating this Russia garbage, including the spying by Obama? A year? They still don’t have substantive evidence, and now they have this special counsel that can go on and on and on. I think a time line makes sense too. Give Mueller a few months, and then he’s done.

He admits he did not vote for Trump.

If he was not smart enough to see that Trump was a better choice than Hillary or the failure in life socialist, I doubt his advice is worth much.

“The author is mostly correct.”

Correct. But to the unthinking Trump cultists who increasingly populate FR these will be wasted thoughts. I’m a Trump skeptic who was glad he was elected and wish his Administration would grow up and quit being a dumpster fire. Pursue a conservative agenda and quit Tweeting. It makes the Trump Admin look like a clown show. Govern like a grownup, not someone with the impulse control of a pubescent. Some of what Trump is doing makes me smile, more makes me grimace. My own judgement is that his erratic behavior, dearth of knowledge, and absence of philosophical principle will ultimately inflict generations worth of damage to whatever is left of the Conservative Movement.

Trump’s greatest strength is that he has all the right enemies on the left and squishy middle. But that alone does not make a good presidency. To be a great President would require two things, which he will not. 1) he needs to realize it is not all about his brand. 2) he needs to become (or at least pretend) he is a Conservative. Neither is likely.
