All the more reason to link dreck and CNN.
Is not the parabolic allegory metaphorically emblematic?
Speaking figuratively, of course.
Dunno but I’m going to get dreck faced after that one!
Precisely. Hence my use of the term with its attendant entendre. I believe we are communicating, across a great divide, well, maybe just a rivulet.
Dreck/Drek:
1. The evil brother of Shrek
2. Another synonym for Democrat
3. Some hot dogs that try to imitate Hebrew National
4. The plans the Redskin coaches use which don’t use the right players at the right time, or ignore them altogether.
5. My bank account.
6. Very moldy, oldy Playboy magazines.
7. My French grades in college (aka in France, Merde).
I learned drek from Mad magazine too. And other words, e.g.
‘CNN is so full of drek, it’s nose runs and its feet smell due to its bupkis content and tsuris from BS-ing America.’
“Dreck” comes from the German word for feces.
See post #8 above.
Nice. A list with class.
I had nightmares about French finals for years after graduating.
I had an American woman French teacher who studied at the Sorbonne. Not a good teacher. Too French.
The second one was a French teacher from the Sorbonne who thought all American students were stupid. (It was that many of use were taught to read and write French, not speak it enough to be conversant in it). She was a Bitch.
Third French teacher was a very fine gentleman who spoke French slowly, clearly, and properly. I passed his class and actually enjoyed it and him.
Well one out of three was better than none out of three.
But wait! These pieces of dreck, i.e. stools, are organic, every single one and therefore the epithet, dreck, can be worn with pride by the crunchy granola nitrogenous waste harvesters, the environmental heroes the crunchy granola Left like to think they are.
Lately all that has been on TV, including the News (especially the News!) has been dreck!
Holy Dreck batman you win hands down!
MY Mom always used that word and gehen dred. Kureva was another favorite. Oh heck, she had thousands of words in the lost language we referred to as Yiddish. Oy veys mir.
While I suppose dreck can mean rubbish, it usually means shit. FYI.
Obama is the new “Dreck Girl”.
Drek - noun. What one gets covered with when one has been schlonged or
covfefed.
See - Hillary Clinton
The lefts takeover of the so-called schools of journalism has resulted in the drecking of the news media.
