Some years back, there was an article on just the opposite. An A/C repairman was constantly called back to check the equipment as the women complained that the office was too hot. Everything checked all right - but nothing he did fixed the problem to the womens’ satisfaction - until the sixth call.
He placed streamers on the vents that fluttered every time the fan went on. The women congratulated him, saying “it was much cooler now”.
My office either has the a/c working perfectly or all to often it stops and the temps rise then on then off etc. I have a fan on everyday in the summer. The air is not exchanged enough and I have co-workers who really need to shower along with the fast food smells from their lunch.
The heating controls are none existent for the winter. When they remodeled the office several years ago they did not hook them up so we wear jackets at times. There is a whole building remodel coming so hopefully they will make the a/c and heating work properly.
