My condolences to his family. He was one of the great ones to ever play a guitar and he did it without knowing how to read music. It was a God given talent.

I followed his career since he started out in Albuquerque, New Mexico and then went to Hollywood.

I am just glad that a lot of folks in Hollywood saw his talent and wanted him on their team.

I am also glad that I got to see this great talent play that 12 string guitar beautifully. Glenn Campbell was the best we have ever seen.

I’ve been thinking about why it is that there has been such an outpouring since Glen’s death.

I think it comes from the appreciation of the days when we had real musicians and not this crap today, where everything can be produced from computers with minimal musical talent necessary.
