I didn’t realize he was still alive but he was certainly an institution in Arkansas and around college football. I will always remember him walking off the field after Texas broke his heart in 1969 and was accompanied by his wife and children like any family man. It was so touching.
I’ll betcha Darrell Royal can’t wait to take Frank out to the golf course up there somewhere.
It is about the time of year Dad would get his Dave Campbell TEXAS FOOTBALL - the 50s-70s were great football.
