Trump asked Sessions about closing case against Arpaio, an ally since ‘birtherism’

As Joseph Arpaio’s federal case headed toward trial this past spring, President Trump wanted to act to help the former Arizona county sheriff who had become a campaign-trail companion and a partner in their crusade against illegal immigration.

The president asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions whether it would be possible for the government to drop the criminal case against Arpaio, but was advised that would be inappropriate, according to three people with knowledge of the conversation.

After talking with Sessions, Trump decided to let the case go to trial, and if Arpaio was convicted, he could grant clemency.

Trump and Arpaio became brothers in arms five years ago. As they saw it, the two provocateurs — one a celebrity real estate developer, the other a polarizing sheriff — were pursuing justice in the form of supposed evidence that Obama’s birth certificate was fraudulent.

“There was no collusion,” Arpaio said in an interview Saturday. “I started my birth certificate investigation around the same time he did his.”

The Manhattan mogul sent Arpaio a fan letter and flattered him on social media. “Congratulations to @RealSheriffJoe on his successful Cold Case Posse investigation which claims @BarackObama’s ‘birth certificate’ is fake,” Trump tweeted in 2012.

Three years later, in July 2015, when Trump swooped into Arpaio’s hometown of Phoenix for the first mega-rally of his upstart presidential campaign, the sheriff returned the favor by testifying on stage to “the silent majority” that Trump had begun to awaken.

Backstage at that rally, Arpaio recalled, the two men talked about their shared birthday — June 14, which is Flag Day. Their friendship blossomed and Arpaio became a fan favorite at Trump rallies. “I had a gut feeling that he was going to win,” Arpaio said.

Probably all Palafox knows is that he was unceremoniously asked to withdraw his nomination and lied about. Alvin Onaka is most likely the one who could enlighten us if he chose to. There’s probably very little he doesn’t know.

“The Abercrombie Admin felt it necessary to leak untrue stories re illegal billing that Palafox had allegedly engaged in, to cover his sudden resignation [inexplicably ‘asked’ to resign].”

And yet Wahiawa General agreed to pay $450,000 to settle a. DOJ lawsuit involving over billing of Medicare and Medical.

“According to the DOJ, the hospital made improper Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE claims between April 1, 2008, and March 31, 2011, for services rendered by resident doctors participating in the Family Practice Residency Program who had insufficient documentation of required supervision by the program’s teaching faculty. The hospital also improperly billed for services with codes that could not be confirmed by doctors’ medical record entries.”

And who ran the Family Practice Residency Program? Dr. Neal Palafox

But I’m sure that is all part of the giant conspiracy.

On an adoption birth certificate is the place of birth, time and date of birth the same as the original or is it changed to match the adopted parents requirements?

It is changed to conform to whatever the judge so orders. The power to do this is entirely in the hands of the Judge, and the norm is to do whatever is seen as in the best interests of the child.

I think Barack Obama had an original Hawaiian birth certificate create in 1961. I think he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro around 1965, and his original record was then sealed. I think his grandparents obtained some sort of guardianship or adoption of him in 1971, but did not receive a replacement birth certificate at that time. They probably received something similar to the "short form" which we saw back in 2008.

I think Barack's lawyers went to court, argued some special circumstances, and got a judge to issue a new document that comports with what people want to believe about him now.

I think his original 1961 birth certificate is based on the residency of his mother, and not an actual birth in Hawaii. (as Hawaiian law permits.)

I think there is a very good chance that he was born in Canada, but the evidence is only indicative, not conclusive.

Fuddy, of course, couldn’t wait to authenticate the fabrication. She was a ‘team player.’ She likely didn’t realize that the team she threw in with was actually the Deep State.

I am coming more and more to believe this "deep state" is actually a thing, and not a paranoid illusion from people who look for conspiracies in everything.

Oddly enough I have arrived at my current position by arguing about the Civil War. I believe that just prior to it is approximately when the "deep state" stuff began.

You know who else liked to post stuff like this ***without a link***?

Take a wild guess.

Meanwhile you’ll understand if I don’t take your word for it. You have shilled for years for a pathological liar. That’s not a resume enhancer.

I’ll examine the link when it’s posted, Lefty.

That’s intriguing. I would not have imagined it went back that far.

The strongest evidence I know of the Deep State is this: after certain murders, no effort is made to find the killer. Take Seth Rich. Not only did the DC police not investigate, they tipped Debbie Wasserman Schultz off when a PI, Rod Wheeler, started probing the case. She confronted him and demanded to know what he was looking for.

Here are some other comments Wheeler made:

“The police department nor the FBI have been forthcoming,” said Wheeler. “They haven’t been cooperating at all. I believe that the answer to solving his death lies on that computer, which I believe is either at the police department or either at the FBI. I have been told both.”

When we asked Wheeler if his sources have told him there is information that links Rich to Wikileaks, he said, “Absolutely. Yeah. That’s confirmed.”

The police say it was a robbery gone bad. Assange said Seth Rich leaked info to him.

I believe Assange.

When we asked Wheeler if his sources have told him there is information that links Rich to Wikileaks, he said, “Absolutely. Yeah. That’s confirmed.”

I don't think that Seth Rich stuff is yet over. You may have noticed that the entire media has dropped their constant drumbeat of "Russia hacked the election!!!!!!" because various experts have determined that the DNC data release was done by an insider and not a "hack" through the internet.

Now that the evidence proves conclusively that it was an insider who grabbed all that data, the attention started to turn to Seth Rich and the Wasserman Schultz IT scam. The media does not want any attention focused on this, so they dropped the story off the radar screen.

Since Seth Rich has pretty much been confirmed to be the inside guy, it's getting harder and harder for them to tiptoe around this issue without drawing more scrutiny to the Democrat's nefarious doings.

I think we will eventually hear more about the Seth Rich incident.

Sorry, I forgot who I was dealing with (word searches can be your friend). Here's another article.

Wahiawa General settled the case in August 2013, though it did not admit liability, and has repaid the government programs, as well as legal fees and related costs totaling $1 million, said Don Olden, the hospital's chief executive officer.

Olden says Wahiawa General got "thrown under the bus" as the billing agent for UH faculty physicians who were responsible for documenting their supervision of the residents, but failed to do so.

"We had to pay for everything. We were billing based on what they told us they did," Olden said. "When we reviewed the bills and documentation, we found out that adequate documentation did not occur. This cost us over $1 million out of pocket. It's money we don't have. That's one of the things we're arguing about. They owe us more than we owe them."

At the time of the investigation, Neal Palafox was the head of the UH family medicine residency program at Wahiawa General. Gov. Neil Abercrombie appointed Palafox director of the Health Department in late 2010 and shortly after asked him to withdraw his nomination, but the governor didn't publicly explain why.

Palafox is still a UH faculty member working at Wahiawa General, but is no longer one of administrators of the program, Olden said. Palafox declined to comment for this story and referred questions to Tina Shelton, spokeswoman for the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine.

For the galatically incompetent here is a link.

But I'm sure you'll explain why Wahiawa General agreed to the settlement as part of the birth certificate conspiracy.

So there are recriminations going back and forth. If he did something wrong, why isn’t anyone in this article faulting Palafox?

On an adoption birth certificate is the signature of the doctor a wet signature or a typed name? How about the birth mother’s signature?

The date of the doctor signature (typed or wet) on an adoption birth certificate is that the actual date the doctor signed it or some date after the adoption takes place?

In your opinion is this an adoption birth certificate? (No wet signatures by doctor or mother)

Shelton [spokesperson for UH] said its physicians weren’t at fault for the fraudulent billing since Wahiawa General runs the clinic and received the improper payments.

“Wahiawa was responsible. That’s why Wahiawa paid the settlement,” Shelton said. “He (Olden) has been trying to get UH to pay the bill, but we didn’t do the wrongdoing.”

So Shelton is lying like an Obot?

I’m not sanguine about Seth Rich. There have been so many deaths re to either the Clintons or the DNC, I don’t know of anyone who’s keeping track of them all. It’s been going on for years. Nobody even asks about them.

If dozens of people—bodyguards, lawyers, business associates, etc.—close to Trump died under suspicious circumstances and at convenient times, people would discuss it. When it’s the Clintons/DNC, not a word.

$450,000 is chump change for a DOJ settlement on illegal billing at a freaking hospital! It is a rounding error.

Thank you, Seize. Your perspective is appreciated. I noticed that the settlement involved no admission of wrongdoing. The back and forth was interesting too.

‘You owe us $800,000.”

‘Yeah, well that doesn’t count because you owe us a million!’

Are you familar with the hospital’s finances? Was it insignificant to them? They also paid $75,000 in lawyer’s fees to the doctor who turned them in.

I realize you aren’t very experienced in the real world, but he was being nominated to administer a very large state agency. The fact is there was an investigation of a program he headed of billing irregularities. The withdrawal of his nomination is not that surprising even if the subsequent investigation proves him innocent of wrong doing.

If you’re right, then why did Abercrombie lie about it? Governor Choom said Palafox asked to have his name withdrawn. In fact, he was told.

Maybe he wanted to prevent Dr. Palafox from going through a trial in the media. Or maybe he believed in innocent until proven guilty and people might think Dr. Palafox’s withdrawal was proof of guilt. Or maybe he didn’t want to reveal the investigation was going on (Dr. Palafox said he wasn’t aware of any investigation). Or maybe it was just Abercrombie incompetence.
