Trump lauds ‘great anger’ after some booed Dallas Cowboys for taking a knee
washington post ^ | September 26, 2017 | John Wagner

President Trump resumed his sparring with the NFL early Tuesday, asserting there was the loudest booing he “had ever heard” when the entire Dallas Cowboys team dropped to its knees ahead of the national anthem at a game Monday night near Phoenix.

“Great anger,” the president said as part of his latest series of tweets on a national controversy over views on protest and patriotism that has raged since Trump's first blast late last week.

Thank you for sharing your concern. I’m sure his visit to Puerto Rico with First Lady Melania will be a big encouragement to the people there.

He went there quickly because they had a place to land, they had relief centers set up, the relief ships are having a hard time getting in, the people are standing in lines for hours for a little fuel. The LAST thing they need right now is the incredible disruption of a presidential visit.

He will go when he can do some good

What, the NFL thugs are really doing by kneeling during our Anthem:

1. Giving our country and good Americans the middle finger!

2. Kneeling during our anthem is like burning our flag on tv.

It’s a real mess in PR right now, they are having a hard time even getting emergency supplies in some areas. I don’t think it would be a good idea for him to go there right now.

Those states have plenty of remaining infrastructure and are “states.” Only “states” get Constitutional protection that “states” get.

“Territories” govern themselves, but have US residency, as well. They are run like a separate country.

When are the teams going to learn that the “national” in “NFL” stands for “the nation of America”.

If they were serious about protesting let them rip off the insignia on their helmets or turn their jerseys inside out.

Then lets see what the owners and fans think of a team that dis-respects their town or state in protest of racism, fascism, hate-ism, or any other made up -ism that hurts their feelings.

“Being crony-capitalists and government-favored monopolists”

Something similar is being foisted on us in alabama today by the elitists. If they cannot take Moore down in the primary, they will take him down in the run off election. Every time I get a request for donation from the GOP, I send it to the dump.

From what I am reading from survivors, it is grim and getting worse
The US territories in the Caribbean need their own Marshall Plan and I for one want to see POTUS leadership on this as tomorrows headline

Already so over seeing rich black thugs and rich fake liberals performing pregame shows as SJWs

Of the 16 teams that that stood for the Anthem Sunday, 10 won.

Of the 6 teams that stood who lost, 5 played against teams that also stood

Only 1 team that stood (Houston) lost against a team that knelt (New England), and by only three points. That game was much closer than it should have been.

New England is the only kneeling or absent team that won against a standing opponent.

You should do what I did to the Canadian Conservative Party when it went wobbly. I would hit reply to all of the Conservative MP’s (it’s easy to create a group email list) stating why I would not contribute to the national party. I reserved support for individual candidates. They eventually stopped sending me requests.

I hear this line of thought often. A tweet can be done in about 10 seconds. It is not mutually exclusive to getting other things done. To me it shows he is constantly engaged in general, rather than worrying about the social circuit like so many other politicians.

I’m sure our President is on top of aiding Puerto Rico in the wake of this storm. Not to be callous, but it’s not their first, worst or last hurricane. His appearing there along with the First Lady is a symbolic gesture. It has nothing to do with whether or not aid is being pursued. A tweet takes less than a minute. I’m enjoying Trump egging them on to self-immolation. They don’t have a clue that they’re doing it to themselves, either, which makes it all the more amusing.

Is there anything your’e happy with, as far as President Trump, by the way?

Do you have a clue about Puerto Rico? It was a totally funded by government mess before the hurricanes,Texas and Florida were not. He will go there when he can safely do so and meet with the victims of Maria. You make all of the Irma and Harvey victims that are trying to get back on our feet very disheartened. You are mean spirited to say the least. Why don't you go to Puerto Rico, and kiss up to nut case whorealdo.

I read that the governor of Puerto Rico said that the Trump administration has done an excellent job of making resources available to PR. And, I gather that things are so bad right now, a presidential visit would only make things worse.
