I noticed that as well. It ass-u-mes all five are producing at an equal rate. Poorly worded question!
Real IQ tests are harder. Some free ones on the MENSA
site.

Actually, the pads were just big enough
for a small frog to stay on at no cost.
They were stay-free mini pads.

Bat 1.05, ball .05.
5 minutes. 5 machines using 5 minutes making 5 widgets means each machine is making 1 widget per 5 minutes. So 20 machines take 5 minutes to make 20 widgets, and 100 machines need 5 minutes to make 100 widgets.
47 minutes. On the 48th day they double and cover the other half.

A letter to the editor actually referred to Princess Hillary as "the most qualified person to ever run for the Presidency." That was just a vagina that votes.

A knack for algebra helps a lot with those. I did well in algebra, but flunked geometry. I couldn’t remember disconnected stuff by rote, but I could figure stuff out if I knew the rules

I should ask the kid at the store where he rang up a $3.27 total and then couldnt make change when I gave him $5.27 to take the test.
I had a bill of $4.52 at a fast food. I gave her $5 and she entered into register. Then I said, wait, I have 2 pennies. She started crying and called the manager.

“A bat and a ball cost £1.10 in total. “
If this is a cricket bat and ball set, the price is too cheap and the bat will break.
£21.98 is the cheapest cricket bat on the internet.
Ergo you get a refund for defective cheap bat merchandise made of inferior wood such as balsa, not willow.
You get a refund for the bat, but not the ball.’
Ergo £1.10 minus ball plus refund £1.10 = free ball
ball cost = £0

Because the last day, it covers half the lake. So it took one day to cover half the lake.
It was 50% covered, and in one day, the other 50% was covered.
They didn’t say which half. if you go from zero coverage, it takes 47 days to cover half the lake. The last day’s growth also covers half the lake.
