Trump Organization backing out of Trump SoHo hotel

The Trump family real estate company is paying to sever its management contract with the luxury lodging’s owner at the end of the month — as tourists and businesses flee from the president’s namesake property, the New York Times reports.

Traffic dropped at the hotel by between 17 and 24 percent last year during the presidential race, according to data from Foursquare — while the building’s swanky sushi restaurant closed earlier this year amid a slump in diners.

The five-star hotel — where the penthouse suite rents for more than $10,000 a night — has had to cut its rates to keep its beds occupied, the Times reports..

But the 46-story building has been troubled since it was announced to great fanfare in 2011 — the Trumps struggled to sell condominiums in the property, and faced lawsuits from angry buyers over inflated sales figures and accusations of sketchy financiers.

Don't forget we are getting a President Trump who is paid $1 Dollar a year plus he has a very high energy level compared to that America Hating, Piece of Work Obama who probably worked around 1 to 2 hours a week.

We have never had a POTUS paid $1 dollar a year in salary.

I believe President Kennedy also donated his entire salary to charity. I would have to research it, but I think he also donated his Senate salary.

Partner, yes J.F. Kennedy was the other president who only got paid $1 a year salary and he did donate the rest of his salary to Charitable organizations.
