I have several, it’s not uncommon. Could be any of a dozen different models.

Yep, used to be standard issue for a local police department.
.45 Long Colt is the usual revolver caliber - it *could* have been a .45 ACP w/stripper clips, or it *could* have been a .455 Webley, but .45 LC is the way to bet.

Would you prefer a .38 Auto? Of course there are 45 revolvers, both 45 ACP, Auto Rim and Long Colt.... etc. Both single action and double action versions.
