MIDDLETOWN, Ohio
A Middletown mother of nine has died of a heroin overdose, and police want to give her young children a better Christmas.
Police were called to a house on Yankee Road on Wednesday and found Jimeta Sanders, 31, unresponsive on the kitchen floor.
Authorities said she was shooting heroin with her supposed friends, who then in turn left her to die in front of her nine kids.
Police said the friends described as two males -- then stole her money and left the home, telling the children they were leaving to buy a 2-liter of soda.
Police believe they were a father-son duo.

Well Tonto when it hits your Tee Pee you will want more rehabs.
No, I wont. Been there. Done that. Got the t-shirt.
Stealing money from people at the point of a governor gun is immoral no matter how noble the purpose of how many vote in favor of it.

You know what? I used to live in Huntington, West Virginia.
I’m done blaming the user and want to go after the sellers big time.
We need way more drug busts and when we find these guys, up to the top, give them the death penalty and this story is why.
Go after the sellers, pushers.
While we are at it...TAR AND FEATHER THEM!!
Funny, I’m just reading a book called Hillbilly Elegy by a guy who grew up in Middletown, and how far it’s fallen since the ‘80s.
Are there no workhouses?
Why not sue dealers for pain and suffering? It’s not hard to know who they are; the police know them by their first names.
Build the wall
My breaks for these poor innocent children. Prayers up for them and the efforts of these great cops.
Can’t we find a way to blame White people for this?
31 years old with 9 kids and no father, or seemingly no family? Having helped with drug addicts, these kids have a very long road ahead of them. If they can avoid their mothers path, they may make it.
Drug abuse happens in all family - just look out far enough.
Stories like this help me understand why our Lord asked us to live in holiness. A little sin really does leaven the whole loaf. It may take 20 years but sin only grows in ones life.
All the more reason why prayer needs to be part of our lives every day. It could happen to our family.
Helping the poor and destitute is the responsibility of We the People, both individually and through our civic and religious organizations.
Government has neither constitutional mandate nor competence to be involved.
I join in your excellent prayer.
What have these poor children witnessed in their young lives?
Sounds like the police are working on a fund for them.
The kids are innocent, but what about the 9 fathers?
.....
In post 6, the OP has C&P’d the FB posting from the police department. Looks like there is one father here.
“Their father is a hard worker, he has tried to make ends meet but its a vicious cycle.”
It is also going to take a whole lot of praying for our nation to turn from this disastrous path and to turn back toward God.
Legalize it all. Let Walmart and Safeway sell it at market prices in 5 pound sacks. In 60 days all the idiots will be dead. We can run some end loaders down the street and dump the bodies in a mass grave.
Then the rest of us can go on with our lives.

Thank you for reminding me to pray for the police, as well.
Prayers up for the father of these children, too.
