Two and a half weeks before the release of Black Panther, excitement for the film is palpable. The title character, who leads the fictional African nation of Wakanda as King T’Challa and doubles as his realm’s superhero protector, was first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, but his roots stretch back through decades of comics. I just looked this movie up, it is like a throwback to the early to mid 1970’s when there was a bunch of Black Exploitation films, This film has a predominately black cast.

This movie is missing Richard Roundtree, Ron Ely, Fred Williamson, Jim Brown,Isaac Hayes and Yaphet Kotto. Now that would be a movie.

This will be good for Disney. Marvel making more money for the mouse. Good investment on Disney’s part.
