It’s a real phenomenon. I’ve read of people who suffered a blunt force trauma to the head, and woke up being fluent in a foreign language.
Seems like excellent evidence for past lives, to me.

For about a week in college I suddenly had a thick Australian accent for no apparent reason. Fascinating.
