Every time the gun grabbers come calling, I have to go get another firearm. My new purchase.

From my own experience, and observations, the correct answer is 19.

Now that I think about it, we need to enter the boating accident into the calculations.

I’m old fashioned (and old). My Springfield M1A reworked into an M-14E2 lookalike with a sidemount scope works for me.

If a gun were a sofa it’d be this rifle. Little felt recoil & it settles back on target with no help from me. That pistol grip nestles in my hand like a just-opened beer.

Don’t like it, Di-Fi? Then ban it. Go ahead.

;^)

My 380 has no disturbing recoil/kick, very easy to handle.

Question, your 45 ACP XDS, does that little gun want to jump out of your hands when fired? Any noticeable bruising or tiring of the hands after several rounds? Does the recoil/kick affect accuracy with the second and subsequent rapid fire shots?

This 45 ACP recoil in such a small frame is what’s holding me back.

I also have a full size XD .40. It’s just too large to conceal, for me at least. It can be done, but those little compacts can be made practically invisible with the right holster/clothing combo.

YES, YES, YES!

Wise move...since "AR-10" is a smaller number than an "AR-15", it won't be as powerful as the AR-15 (according to lib experts), and probably won't be subject to confiscation when the big gun-grab comes. The ammo will be cheaper too because AR-10 bullets are two-thirds the size of those vicious, child-killing, sprayable AR-15 bullets. Not to mention, recoil be a third less that the AR-15.

🤣

That’s exactly why I got it. A .308 won’t vaperize a feral hog like a 5.56 will, and with not so much kick I’ll be able to stay on target. It’s like shooting a .22lr.

That and you’re right. AR10 is smaller than AR15, so it isn’t as powerful.

I have an AR15 by RRA. Best out of the box trigger on the market.

Have fun!

I have a left handed AR15 from RRA. I wanted this one left handed too but RRA doesn’t make them that way. And the price was right. They normally go for $1699, it was marked down to $1399.

“I’m currently considering Springfield’s 45 cal XD compact.”

I have one of those, too. But for EDC I decided on the XDS in .45. On my body it’s very concealable.

Nice rifle though. They’ll tend to be a bit lighter with no piston, that’s great.

1moa out of semi platform is always good.

Need suggestion I need a small HAMMERLESS hand gun for a carry piece, I currenty have a Taurus Ultra Lite Revolver, but Thumb surgery left me with a Frozen Thumb, and limited use of the Index finger, I know I can get the triger pull ligheten, but will never be able to cock a gun again so will have to go hammer less and weight of gun will be a issue as well as Butt size which is why I carry the .38 Taurus Ultra Lite I have small hands. I'm Right hand Dominate and have limited use of that hand now. No use of the Thumb it is Frozen. It has to be a Revolver. Looking at $400 price range with trade in like to stay with the .38 as I've a ton of ammo. I live 30 miles outside of the WAR ZONE KNOWN AS MEMPHIS.

Unfortunately, the feds are no longer “destroying the records” as they had promised and are now logging the type of weapons that we are purchasing. Not certain when this happened but keep this in mind if the police come aknockin. Guns purchased prior to tbd date will have no records a so keep them separate or be prepared to move them.
