If I've read correctly the park..not sure if it includes the ranch..it shares the border with Mexico for 118 miles.
So..we're talking about large areas of Parks..that really stirs people up. Here in IN we have places along highways that had to be left because declared wet lands.

Sorry Jane, I think I know which map you are talking about, and I’m not seeing it above. But they are kinda interesting. Scrolled through the thread just prior to this one and did not see it.
That said, it'll never be chrystal clear because, well, it just isn't. That's part of the mystery.

When I started noticing the Q threads, I was more impressed with the Freepers' analyses of Q than I was Q.
I didn't know if Q was real or not but the Freepers working on Q are extraordinary.
They are something to behold.
That in and of itself makes the Q threads worth reading in every detail.

Some believe is was a warning to Reagan, but no way to tell for sure. If the did take him out then Bush slides right in just like Johnson did.
Yes, that terrain looks gnarly.
My thoughts are we slam in pre-fab sections in the easy terrain making those stretches impassible. Those still attempting to cross will now be funneled to treacherous areas like the one pictured.
Having to negotiate the gnarly areas only will greatly decelerate crossing speed, lower the numbers of crossers and give pause to those who think they can just sprint through and over this stuff.
Choking down the vast miles now open for crossing to these rough areas also makes monitoring easier only having to focus security on a few still-open stretches.
Having natural terrain as a deterrent aid may only require something way less involved than a 30’ high barrier of some sort.
