And finally, it stops abruptly at the death on the Cross, when in fact it was when he rose from the dead that things really started to happen Yes. Wouldn't it be great to see a new production -- similar to Jesus Christ Superstar -- but written and performed by Christian rock musicians?

And lastly...why did they broadcast it on Easter Sunday? The rock opera has no mention of His resurrection. It ends at the Crucifixion. Why not broadcast it on Good Friday? The only reason is money. Excellent point. I didn't even realize it was on Easter Sunday. I saw some promos for it last week and *assumed* it was running live on Good Friday.
