Macron speaking on Iran. Notes that US and France obviously had different strating postion onthe subject, and the two have had a frank discusison. Trump thiks deal is a bad deal, Macron thinks the deal is a good placekeeper until at least 2025, and want to work on a new deal.
Macron lays out four points that he thinks can be delivered by the existing deal. In short, Macrom is defending the deal, or the bulk of it at any rate.
Trump is not smiling. He is hearing the translation in an earpiece. He turns periodically as if he wants to inject his piece of mind, maybe agreement or clarification. At any rate, he is listening carefully.

Trump says he hops NK will act honorably in his dealing with the US, and he thinks it will positive for NK, SK, Japan, the US and the rest of the world. This should have been worked out years ago. This should have been resolved by other presidents a long time ago. He wants to see denuclearization, many concessions by NK, none by US, contrary to press reports. Strongest sanctions ever. China has been strong and helped on this, with border control. And this in part because Trump plays the trade card vs. China.
On Syria quesiton, would love to get out. Our warriors have done a gret job. We have done a big favor for neighbors. We do not want to give Iran open season to the Mediterranean. Will be coming home relatively soon. ISIS job is just about done. [Not going to give a date] Iran deal should have included Yemen, syria, and other parts of the Middle east where Iran is involved. We ant to leave a strong and lasting footprint in the Middle East.

We are going to find out in the near future (Iran is next) why we have kept kissing Iran’s bum since the hostage crisis of 1979.
They have done everything to us and others including peeing in our lunch box, closing the lid and telling us how much we are going to enjoy it come noon.
This elevation of Iran to being a powerful equal over the decades has been most baffling. We could swat them with nary a sweat.
Perhaps some little birdie will spill the beans to Iran’s leaders as to what happened to a mountainside in NK.
Given how we know the end game plays out from the Biblical view, I do wonder how Trump fits into this whole framework. We know he’s not going to save the world and spare us the evil end play.
Macron says all he is advocating is adding a few elements to the deal, whereas Trump is talking about getting rid of the JCPOA.
Macron also brings up the issues of Iran playing in Syria nd Yemen, and ICBM missile technology threat (all of this would be new to Iran deal).
