P.S.
Before anyone gets confused and think I said that having anything to do with being WHITE, NO -— my answer was totally based on a conversational reply to usconservative’s post to mine. It was not aimed at this thread!
It was totally based on having the FREEDOM to have an OPINION and voice it.
“you must know this family well to pass your judgment on them.”
Dont care to know them.
If this is what he thinks, then he will get judged on it.
Im not a liberal so I believe that moral standards about whats right and whats wrong apply equally to everyone. Sorry for your confusion.
Whites marrying Whites and having White descendants is portrayed as an evil thing to be destroyed.
Some people prefer mutts.
It's supposed to be a free country where you can try to have what you prefer.
BTW, the mutts are often smarter.
“Since when aren’t people allowed to believe whatever it is they want, as long as it doesn’t hurt someone else?”
He is allowed to have his beliefs, the media is allowed to publish his beliefs, and the voters are free to cast their ballots based on his beliefs.
I do not believe anything from liberal media sources so I will first assume this paper is lying.
However, white people have the right to be proud of their heritage as any other race. I applaud white people and Christian people who teach their children to be proud of who they are.
JoMa
As a white person working in a small southern town & living in another I have observed, at least in the small town where I have worked & taught in two 98% black schools....... A black family will no way put up a black child for adoption. That child will end up with a family member.
That is just my observation.
my mom flat out told me that if i were to marry a black man and have babies, she would not treat those grandchildren the same “because they are not”
she truly thought black people were “the other” and was not going to entertain any broach of her views.
My daughter dated a bi racial kid in high school. His mom (black lady) was dead. set . against this casual relationship. She wanted her black son to marry a black girl. She herself married a white man, so maybe she knew something I don’t. Goes both ways.
Silly me! My chocolate ration shall now be reduced by 2 grams.
Not the CHOCOLATE!!!
Cruel, cruel, cruel. Next they will start taking away our gas, cigarettes,and... Oh, wait.
You win “The Most Ignorant Post Ever!” award. Congratulations.
You have your opinion; I have mine. I say YOU win “The Most Ignorant Post Ever!” award.
No, I have my experience as a child of a 54 year mixed race marriage and who is currently in a mixed race marriage of 25 years (and counting) with three mixed race daughters that I would put up against your “purebred” offspring twice on any day of God’s eternity. Your ignorance is breathtaking.
I have close family with mixed-race marriages. Their situations are different from yours. As I said, every person has his own opinion based on personal experience. Just because you’re YOU doesn’t mean ONLY YOUR opinions are the correct ones. Sheesh.
Well then do me a favor and enlighten me as to the difficulties inherent in mixed race marriages and the children that come from them.
You said, “I dont have a problem with interracial marriages for religious or moral reasons. Two adults marry ... fine; knock yourself out. (Although all of the mixed marriages which I know intimately are DIFFICULT.)
So in your opinion mixed race marriages are DIFFICULT - none of the same race marriages that you know intimately are DIFFICULT? What difficulties are unique to mixed race marriages that same race marriages do not encounter?
You said, “But if there will be children, I dont think its fair to them. Life is hard enough when the family dynamics are normal.”
What’s not fair to the children - that they have parents with different skin color? That they have a mixed ancestry? What problem does that present to the children? And what kind of “abnormal” family dynamics does a mixed race family deal with that is not faced in a same race family?
Please explain.
Check mail.
Thanks. I just replied to your mail.
