A 24-hour celebration that showcases local artists turned into the Wild West early Sunday morning amidst a fight inside a warehouse.
At least one person was killed and numerous others were injured in a shootout that happened at the Art All Night celebration in the Roebling Market section of the city.
When we got here around 2:30, it didnt look like we were coming to Art All Night, city resident Franco Roberts said. It looked like we were outside of a Philadelphia club after the bar closes and people who dont want to leave are standing around their cars smoking and drinking.

The "artists" may be anti-gun progressives. The "rough trade" posse they hang out with to "keep it real" are likely urban thugs.
What could possibly go wrong?
Actually, I think it was the location that affected this and moved it from rowdy or sleazy behavior to homicide. One of the comments from somebody who had gone to the event said that they had just decided to leave because this year it had suddenly become very “gangsta.” So I’d say the problem wasn’t the artists or the art-lover crowd, but that somehow it had gotten out on social media and attracted the attention of the thug crowd, famous for crashing parties and turning them into shoot-a-thons.
Latest is a “neighborhood beef” is behind the fatal shooting.
At least 22 injured, 16 shot, three or four in critical condition.
‘Art All Night’ events seem to be a growing trend in cities around what used to be America.
Idiocy under the cover of “art”. What a bunch of losers. Get a life...get a real job. Most “art” created by these pinheads would be called junk. That said...anyone who is outside at any time in trenton has bad judgment. Anyone living there has bad judgment.
Why is this ‘news’ when the same sort of ‘playful activities’ take place in Chicago (amongst other LIB strongholds) with regularity.
OR is it if 10 a week were ‘eliminated’ in Trenton, a solo incident wouldn’t raise an eyebrow or even bring a ‘half cocked’ comment like...
“What is the big deal? On a NORMAL night 3 or 4 are shot so why are you making a big deal out of this?
Besides it wasn’t the fault of the Art Show, it was gun show loopholes”...
A very good point... I've been to a massive amount of gun shows... I don't recall any problems what so ever...
NJ has strict "may issue" concealed carry laws. You have a better chance of seeing the Easter Bunny than a NJ carry permit. In turn, the chance of being a victim of violent crime in Trenton is 1 in 74.
PA carry permits are very easy to obtain. In turn, the chance of being a victim of violent crime in Morrisville is 1 in 855.
I don't get it. How is this possible? /sarc
NO PICTURE OR NAME RELEASED OF THE ONE DEAD - MUST BE AMISH..
Just can't have nice things can we? Shades of midnight basketball.
Oh, and most of these folks are not considered artists. Liberal logic denotes you have to be starving and living in poverty to be an artists.
So the thug crowd didn’t like the art then. Who knew thugs were art critics?
I think I’d be getting on the Calhoun Street Bridge and waving “bye bye” to New Jersey.
I get the “Stand and Fight” attitude, but roots or not there’s just so much “political correctness” a free man can withstand.
The only misadventure I’ve ever, ever hear of at a gun show is where somebody fires off a run because of carelessness(it happens, but very, very rare)
Compared to so called “gun free “zones, I feel very safe among all these guns and gun owners.
Disagreement over van Gogh vs Rembrandt leads to gunfight.
And watch out for the disputes about Renoir vs. Cezanne, arguments about Manet compared to Monet. Such differences of opinion can easily lead to fisticuffs to settle the dispute.
sarcasm, I hope it’s sarcasm
The few guns shows I when to I NEVER felt unsafe. I knew that the people at these shows understood their wares and the people interested in them. The feelings I remember were of awe and the desire to see them in action. A kid at Christime!
Envy was the emotion of the day, not fear.
Did I say I was a gun owner and a conservative?
Naaaaah. Redundant!
So the thug crowd didnt like the art then. Who knew thugs were art critics?
Maybe some of the thug types want to get some culture??? They want to get some inspiration for their graffiti???
OMG Camden, I hear, is such a disaster.
Someone put pics of Camden on this site some months ago. It looks like a bombed out city from World War II.
