Herb Caen was a superb local columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle for decades back in the good old days. He used to put funny names in his daily column. By far, the best was the engagement announcement of two young Asian people, Mr. Poon and Miss Tang. The typical newspaper engagement announcement headline simply listed the two prospects’ names: “Poon-Tang.”
I imagine police only had to setup a trail of cheese that lead into a box with a stick holding it up.
