It would be interesting to see their concession sales this year at preseason games versus prior years. I am sure they have the statistics. If they were positive they might be out, on the other hand the NFL may not want any discussion of attendance this year to reduce visibility on this topic.

He knew his past (and I am sure he has episodes which he would soon forget) would be slammed over and over and probably did not want to put his family through a Demon smear campaign.

He definitely would fearlessly speak his mind.

After Sarah gets burned out, he should be Press Secretary.

from a brief review of Google there are some indications that season ticket renewals are down somewhat. For example, the Colts reported in May that their season ticket renewals were down about 10% from 2017. So did the Ravens.
https://www.ibj.com/blogs/20-the-score/post/67970-colts-season-ticket-renewals-slow-more-premium-seating-offered-for-indy-500

In that article a spokesman from the NFL said that overall season ticket renewals were 90% of last year. They may make up for some of that decline with new season ticket sales, late renewals and different ticketing packages - say a 5 game package.

The NFL has challenge attracting fans beyond the anthem protests. The in-home experience with HDTV is one. Others are high ticket prices, an aging fan base, millennials not as interested in team sports viewing, dilution of talent and a consequent poorer product on the field. But they will still sell a lot of tickets.

News and hopes of the NFL’s demise are exaggerated.

Dallas has no waiting list, interesting.

Notice that there are quite a few teams which have no waiting list. Does anyone believe the Saints have one of the longest, 100,000?

All you need is a digital tuner, either it is built in to your TV or you can buy one for about $40 and hook it up.

That is what I did and get about 33 channels.

The per capita crime rate for the NFL is less than that of the average Black teenager.

My wife and I went to the Dallas Cowboys preseason game this past weekend. (I’m a Vikings fan, but her family loves the Cowboys.) When they were ready to begin the anthem, the stadium announcer said, “And now, join us for the singing of our national anthem.” I’m not sure, but I think when we’ve been there before, the announcer would say, “And now, PLEASE RISE and join us for the singing of our national anthem”. I can’t swear to it, but I’m pretty sure they dropped the ‘please rise’. I did watch and no players were kneeling (that I could see).

All you need is a digital tuner...

No signal here in the mountains as digital and FM are line of sight signals.

The NFL can Stuff It. ....

Several dEnver broncos cheerleaders were arrested for prostitution so they fired all the cheerleaders for years.

The local Walmart has had Seahawk gear, fake jerseys, shirts etc on huge discounts for almost a year now. They can hardly give them away it seems, the same goes for the Safeway stores which have long carried game gear. I think the league has made a snowball of a mistake, and kicked it over the hill. It is still rolling and picking up steam. The end result may be huge, it may be small, but the league will lose money on the National Anthem protests, the constant diddling of the rule book, gay male cheerleaders, pink month, and the turning of a mans game into powder puff played by really big “girls” with testes.

Yes, it costs nothing to get on the Waiting List and New Orleans is a town where people live on hope and luck.

Everyone loves to team and getting on the list shows commitment but requires no investment.

I wouldn’t give up without trying a real antenna with a pre-amp.

I’m in S.Central PA right up against the mountains - and I’m able to get about 50 channels. Harrisburg, Lancaster and DC Markets.

I was lucky and my old house still had the outdoor antenna and mast.

But - I won’t get a thing if that preamp goes off.

I took two long range antennas and two amps to get Baton Rouge which was 1300 miles away before the government destroyed the antenna system. Now I get one channel in spanish. They keep fixing things till they break them. I won't go dish and pay for CNN and ESPN

The stands are filled to the rim for many college games...where people don’t hate you for being white.

Oh, they still hate...they're just quieter about it 'till after they're drafted.

Always went to one game a year, usually in KC or Minn. Just an excuse to have some fun with the family and get out of town on a weekend trip. Haven’t gone in awhile. Won’t ever go back. Too expensive...and I just don’t agree with anything the NFL and the majority of players do.
