The first keg has been tapped and the beer is flowing as the 185th Oktoberfest gets underway in Munich. Mayor Dieter Reiter inserted the tap in the first keg on Saturday with two blows of a hammer and the cry of "O'zapft is" - "it's tapped." As tradition demands, he handed the first mug to Bavarian governor Markus Soeder, who declared that "the Oktoberfest is perhaps Bavaria's biggest and best calling card in the world." Around 6 million visitors are expected at the festival grounds in Munich before the Oktoberfest ends on Oct. 7. As in previous years, backpacks and large bags are banned for security reasons.

Been there. I remember one guy so drunk, he stood there in public and peed his own pants. He was totally soaked but too drunk to care.
I remember Oktoberfest bathrooms were a culture shock. An old lady sat there INSIDE the men’s bathroom collecting coins for entry. Imagine going to a baseball stadium and the men’s bathroom having women inside.
The downtown park is clothes optional. I remember seeing naked people of all ages and nobody cared.
But multiculturalism is suicide. Until the German men grow courage again and DEPORT ISLAM, the rich German culture may die off.
The muzzies will drink it while objecting and then start raping people.

I have been to two Oktoberfests. It is some of my best memories.
At Oktoberfest, it is LEGAL to be drunk in public. So you can spend all day and drink 5 liters of good beer. Just take the public transit back to the hotel.
What a riot. American culture is still far back in the dark ages. Just one American town needs to legalize drunk walking for an annual end of summer fest. Come on Mayors, who will step forward.
I am amazed there is no sister celebration in American yet.

There used to be several German festivals in the USA. Oktoborfest, Shutezenfests and such. Then came 1917 and everything German became “evil”.
