Word got around that the edits (adding senators’ personal information to the internet) had been made by a staffer in Rep. Maxine Waters’ office.
Maxine Water’s reply..

This denial is angry. This suggests she doesn’t have the temperment to be a Member of Congress. When someone is accused of something they didn’t do, they must not be angry. They must not be defiant. They must not question the motives of the accuser. They must be calm and serene.
I was in Chicago during the Democratic convention of 1968. I’ve been scared of them since then.

Well, he may be a fag but he’s our fag now. Spoken by a never married unmarried man of almost sixty who has never been a homosexual and resents it bitterly when people make that assumption. Like having to live as a bachelor isn’t bad enough already.
Maybe that’s been the blackmail they’ve used against him all these years and now, after he took a bullwhip to’em in committee, they’re going to dump it all.
I suspect that slush fund is what is driving all of these sudden retirements from Congress.
