UK still sucks culinary wise. You can keep your michelin star - overrated. and British cooking (recipes) are the worst ever. Liver pudding, sharks on a stick to mention a few - yuck.
New England - further from there the better cooking and political.

Up until about 6 months ago, I had never ordered meatloaf in a restaurant. Then, somewhere in Montana or Washington, I ordered fried meatloaf.
It was incredible. That’s how we make it at home now. Just had some tonight

I eat at Chinese buffet’s somewhat frequently.
I also organize a large potluck for over 100 every year. Might push 150 this year.
Well, I don’t organize much, I tell people I believe in the luck part. Don’t ask me what to bring, just bring something.
